We chose SMOF as our wedding reception back in October. We love to travel and my husband is in the Air force Reserves. This was a perfect venue for our Modern-Vintage Travel theme. Liz the SMOF Coordinator-she was very professional, helpful, cheerful and a joy to work with. All of the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We reserved the entire museum (upstairs and downstairs). There are two large children’s areas-perfect for the little ones. Parking was ok. They have a preferred catering list but, you can use whomever you like for a small fee. There isn't an in house kitchen so make sure your catering company can keep the food warm. It can get very dark and dim inside so make sure your photographer is comfortable working in weird lighting. We had between 175-200 guests and had plenty of room to walk the museum, eat and dance.Sent on 02/17/2014
