Based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, SOKY Strings is a wedding cello duo. Musicians Shelly Burgess and Josh Propst have been performing at weddings together for several years. They are both classically trained and have earned degrees in the field of music. Despite this background, however, they enjoy playing music from all genres and are particularly familiar with hymns and worship music.

SOKY Strings is primarily a cello duo. Shelly and Josh do, however, have plenty of contacts and are happy to include more musicians in their lineup should that better align with your vision. They can also source vocalists to perform for you and your guests. Their standard wedding package includes entertainment at the rehearsal dinner, as well as for a short time while guests are arriving at the ceremony.
