We hired Amanda for $1500 and paid an additional $200 for a 2nd photographer which she suggested to make it easier on her. Way overpriced and Amanda was not worth the $1700, her 2nd photographer however was more professional and her pictures proved it. Should have taken advice of my then fiance and spent the money on a professional camera. Amanda (the hired photographer) was talking and getting pointers from the 2nd a lot. Amanda was late to the wedding (but of course no refund for cutting into the 6hrs we paid for), the 2nd photographer was on time. Amanda didn't scope out the wedding venue days in advance or even early the day of for best formal pictures but did so after she arrived late and after the ceremony took place. No multi or burst shots were taken of anything, even by the 2nd photographer (I thought this was photographer 101). We basically had 1 rarely 2 shots of everything, didn't have much option between good or bad but got stuck with what was there. One of the sneak peaks provided of wedding party, everyone but 1 bridesmaid face was blurry. Even pointed this out and at first Amanda said it looks different on a phone, when I told her I was on a PC looking at them, she said she'd look into it (picture looked exact same in "final" pictures provided, sadly that was the best picture I got with the wedding party). Very disappointed when I saw how the pictures of the wedding party walking down the aisle (they weren't even looking at camera when it was taken and of course there was only 1 picture) and the formal pictures of the wedding party after the ceremony. Some of the pictures weren't even in focus. There was no directing on who needed to be where or in what picture by Amanda, the 2nd photographer was the only one that said anything, otherwise I was telling them we need a picture with this group, and this group, and etc. Not one picture was taken with just my family (parents and siblings). A terrible Photoshop was done on one of the pictures of the wedding party with parents, you can clearly see the cut and paste area. No where in the contract did it state we were to provide food for them and they helped themselves without ever asking and disappeared while everyone was getting their food and didn't reappear until Maid of Honor was making announcements. Thankfully I had family taking pictures, because there are so many things they captured that neither of the photographers caught as many times they were standing together chatting. I had to wait 90 days to get my pictures, which was ridiculous (my fault for not making sure there was a set time turnover in contract). Amanda didn't edit themselves or their shadows out of a lot of the pictures. Amanda said it took a lot of editing and doesn't provide raw pictures. But she uploaded the photos to the online album, (I just happened to see them because she mentioned trying to have them to me by an early Christmas present) which I downloaded. When I asked Amanda about them, because I was very concerned that there was no pictures of our first kiss at the altar. Amanda told me they were only there to have someone else look them over and she would have them to me finished by the 90 day mark. After the 90 days I got the "completed" pictures. There was only 1 picture of our first kiss at the altar, I had to contact Amanda and then she gave 2 more, again the pictures the 2nd photographer took was good whereas Amanda's were not. When I compared the pictures I downloaded early and the pictures Amanda said were the "complete and final" the only edits were lighting and exposure edits of the entire picture aside from the terrible crop and paste one. Literally something I can do on Instagram or Facebook for free. Most of the lighting pictures were brightened so much the leaves weren't even the right color anymore. I would never recommend anyone hire Amanda for their photography needs. Complete waste of money and major disappointment after having to wait 90 days just to find out how terrible they were. Haven't even attempted to get any money back because it's probably completely pointless. Save yourself the heartache and money and find someone else for your photography needs.
