Believe me when I say that Joe is the greatest person that my wife and I have ever met. He is so kind, open and considerate. You spend a lot of time with your wedding photographer, and it’s one of the biggest decisions you make for your big day. You will not go wrong with Joe. From the very first conversation with him, we knew we were in great hands. No one else we spoke with was at his level from expertise and quality of pictures.

Being an LGBTQ couple, we were very concerned about finding vendors who accepted us for who we are and wouldn’t treat us any differently. Joe was just that for us. He asked questions and made sure he understood us and what we wanted in terms of pictures. We felt comfortable with him the entire time.

My husband and I got Married in October 2023 and it was beyond beautiful and so memorable thanks to Joe! As a couple who never takes many photos of ourselves and had never done a photoshoot, I cannot rave enough about Joe and the experience he gives his clients!
I reached out to Joe and his prompt response and enthusiasm made me so excited to work with him. Joe has been nothing short of incredible from the moment we had our initial conversation, through the engagement photoshoot, planning sessions, to the wedding day, and beyond! He was such a big help with outfits, locations and our want and need lists for our engagement session and that was just the beginning. Our conversations were always so easy going and collaborative. He was so dedicated to making the perfect timeline with us and what photos we wanted when. He was also extremely flexible on trying new ways to do things. For example, I made photo lists on Pinterest and he was such a trooper and so flexible trying to navigate how to get access to see my boards. Another example is when we were taking photos on our wedding day, I wanted to try a pose we hadn't talked about and he went right along with it and made it so fun!
He truly just wanted to make our shoot and wedding day amazing and get the most out of the experience. He is adventurous and always down to try new things and is prepared with the tools and resources is it takes to get a great photo! During our engagement photo shoot, he saw a perfect place to get a picture and was cutting limbs off of trees and climbing down into the water to get the best angle!
Joe made us feel so comfortable and relaxed while giving great instructions and directions! When I look at our photos, I really see the goofy, loving, authentic us and not positioned robots just to get a good photo. Joe makes experience feel enjoyable, fun, and like we can be ourselves rather than standing in front a photographer. That is what made us fall in love with Joe! He is professional but so fun and relaxed that it made us feel like we could be ourselves.
His overall presence is so comforting, and he makes it so easy to ask questions and collaborate with him on anything!
The photographer you pick can really make or break your day, especially when you spend ALL DAY with them and they are everywhere you are. Joe really made the difference from a good day to an amazing and memorable day. You can really tell he loves connecting and having fun with his clients!
When we saw our photos from our engagement shoot and also our wedding day, they were STUNNING! He is so creative and I love the attention to detail he puts into his work. His photos are so true to who we are and it makes me giddy to look at them. You only have one wedding day and getting amazing photos and remembering that day for the rest of your life's is the most important thing you could ask for. I joke with my husband when we are old and we forget things about life we will never forget our wedding day because his photos take me back to that day and all the feelings and precious memories we made.
I cannot recommend Joe enough for any occasion you have! He puts his heart and soul into every aspect of what he does and the results are so truly breathtaking! I cannot wait to grow our family and experience our life where Joe captures every important milestone and memory for us! There are great photographers out there but if you want an amazing human being to go along with your amazing photos: CHOOSE JOE!!

I cannot recommend Silecchia photography enough! Joe was absolutely amazing to work with. He is so professional yet kind and made my whole wedding party very comfortable on our wedding day. He paid attention to the little things in our relationship and made sure to highlight the things that make our relationship unique. He is willing to go the extra mile to make everything just right, and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Joe and his sister were awesome! Not only did they drive up from Ohio to Eastern Michigan for our wedding but he has kept in constant contact with us and was completely willing to work with us on everything!

We didn’t get a chance to meet him in person before our wedding, but when we did, it felt like we have known each other for years. He is so passionate about his work and does such an amazing job. When we first met Joe, my husband and I immediately felt comfortable and confident with his art and knowledge of a wedding in general. After hiring Joe and knowing our initial feeling was correct, my husband has now replaced the phrase "gut feeling" with "Joe feeling" to try to prove to me he's as confident in his gut feeling as the day we met Joe! Joe's passion for capturing the most magical and memorable moments is proven in the way he skates around the room the entire day and you hardly know there's a camera capturing it all! TRUE TALENT!!! Silecchia photography was not only our favorite photographer, but also our favorite vendor from our whole wedding! Joe and Jess are SO sweet and welcome you instantly. They make it feel more like a friend is taking your photos, rather than a stranger. Joe will go to great lengths to get the perfect shot, whether that be laying on the ground, standing on the side of a bridge, or whatever else he can think of to get that perfect angle! They never rush you, they let you take all the time you need, and they help suggest different poses, to get the photos you have always dreamed of! Once they finish editing your photos they send you a flash drive with images that are yours to print or do whatever you like with!
While we picked Silecchia Photograhpy as our wedding photographers because of their skill, it was their true passion and kind hearts that made such a lasting impression! They truly are amazing people, I wish I had more reasons for them to take our photos!!! I cannot recommend them enough!!!

: I don't know where to begin, Joe is the only photographer I would ever want to have at any major life event. He is incredible, his love for shooting weddings is shown through his work. He met with my husband and I about a month prior to the wedding to get to know us as a couple, and see what we wanted for the wedding. He was amazing at communication. Joe arrived at the bridal salon at 11am, and fit right in with my bridal party and family, he took all the pictures I asked and followed us to a bar after to take some shots, and then to the venue. He made everyone feel comfortable when taking pictures, my husband who hates pictures taken loved him and felt at ease. His groomsmen and him are also a little crazy and can be hard to handle, and Joe handled them all and had fun in the process! EVERYYONE bridal party and guests LOVED HIM and kept his contact information to work with him in the future! He flowed well with the timeline, and blended in when I had moments with my mom, bridal party and much more. Many people thought he was a guest or family member because of how much of a good time he was, he fit in very well, and stayed until the end of the night! He let Pat and I enjoy the night, and make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, my entire bridal party got his contact information because they loved in, and many guests asked as well. I would highly recommend him, he is a truly incredible photographer and person. Joe posted many photos on his facebook page, and within 6-8 weeks I received a flash drive with well over 600 edited images. If Patrick and I do a vow renewal, have children, or have a big life event that needs a photographer, Joe would be our first and only call!

Booking Joe for our wedding was one of the best decisions I made. His pictures stoos out to mw from browsing multiple photographers due to his natural abilities to capture light so well, his pictures were just stunning. And before even meeting Joe I was so excited I found him on the knot because unlike most photographers who charge by the hour, he told us that as long as we still want photos taken, he would be around, which was unheard of!! He also had an extremely reasonable price, which was great for my fiance and I since we were funding it ourselves and on a tight budget. Meeting him was even more amazing. He made me feel extremely comfortable from the beginning. Joe was a perfect balance of giving directing and listening to our suggestions. By that I mean he would be enthusiastic about any ideas that I had, and when I went blank, he offered multiple different creative shot ideas. My wedding guests all thought that we were friends prior to the wedding because of how much fun we were having together. I have already seen a few preview shots and I am amazed at how stunningly beautiful they are. I cannot wait to see the rest of them. I could go on and on about how wonderful Joe is but please just see for yourself and book him as your own wedding photographer. You will NOT be disappointed!!
