When I first mentioned to my parents that I thought we should talk to a wedding planner they weren't really sold on the idea. I knew with our busy schedules and hectic lives, we were definitely going to need help. I talked with several planners but when I met with Deborah I knew she was the one for us. She was professional, courteous and made us all feel totally at ease. Her calming nature was genuine and I knew she could guide us through all this and relieve the stress of wedding planning. After meeting with Deborah, my parents were convinced that it was a great decision.
Not one time during the planning process was I stressed or overwhelmed. If I got anxious about something I just called Deborah and she took care of everything. During the entire wedding weekend she was there making sure everything went as planned and that me and my family were always take care of. If you want a calm, stress-free wedding, you should definitely hire Deborah. My dad said it was the best money he ever spent!

I have had two daughters get married in the last 4 years. One had no wedding consultant and one did. Hiring Signature Occasions was the best decision that we made concerning the wedding. My daughter had a hard time deciding what she wanted and Deborah was able to see the big picture and help her make decisions. We also had some complicated family issues that for months prior to the wedding had been overwhelming, but Deborah was able to push on and help us to have a wonderful day. Debbie Simmons is a true professional, a skillful wedding coordinator, and a trustworthy, caring woman all around. Not only did she accommodate all of our requests, but she provided contacts and advice, sometimes at 2 am when I was in between reports. Our wedding was two months ago and she is still working with us to rectify some issues caused by our honeymoon. Additionally, she is a sandals consultant and personally went above and beyond to make sure we were completely taken care of- including reaching into her own pocketbook to ensure they took good care of us when unexpected circumstances occurred. Our wedding would NOT have been the same without her. From cueing when events should happen, to taking care of my bouquet, to making sure we ate, and making sure the guests were taking care of - people RAVED about our wedding and Debbie had a massive part in it all.

I cannot even begin to explain how much Deborah Simmons did to make my day the wedding of my dreams! Not being from the Jackson area, I was overwhelmed with all the decisions to be made but had total trust that Deborah knew my vision and would guide me in the right direction. I was not wrong. She listened to my vision, incorporated them into something way more than I could have ever come up with, even with my limited budget.
She is hands-down the most professional planner in the area and truly cares about her brides. I and my family had absolutely no stress during the entire planning process and my wedding was magical, more than I ever dream possible.
