Samuel did an amazing job! Our engagement video is something we will cherish for years to come. During the wedding, a short video was available and showing at the reception - which was unbelievable! We are still watching it 3 months later. I have no doubt the full length video will be amazing! Sam is amazing to work with. Kind, thoughtful, and puts you at ease! If you hire Sam, you should absolutely consider hiring his wife Kristin as your photographer. They are such a dynamite team. Would recommend to anyone getting married!

We can’t begin to explain how much we love and appreciate Sam! I don’t know how he did it, but he managed to capture each moment and emotion from our day perfectly. He was inconspicuous and worked seemlessly with our photographer to make the most of our time away from our guests. But boy did our guests love him...They are still talking about the same day edit he made for us! Do yourself (and your future family) and hire Sam. Sam and his assistant, Calvin, were outstanding. He was very responsive and easy to work with. We love how he tied in our vows to the video, everything was just right (including the music!). We are so lucky to have found him and could not have asked for a better person to be there to capture the day. HIRE HIM!

Besides being a genuine and kind person who's so easy to work and spend time with, Sam is the creative backbone that made our wedding so personalized and unique!!! He captured our story. At the beginning of our ceremony he had arranged pictures from babies to now that really outlined our journey to this time and place. It was really special for us and our guests to remember how we got to this place.

During the ceremony when my husband and I had our first communion, Sam had collected video from our engagement shoot and integrated our voices speaking to each other. When Sam first asked us to write something to each other, I was so intimidated... BUT it was one of the most special parts of the ceremony where we let our guests into our hearts for each other. Sam was so encouraging and walked us through every step while still allowing us to... be us!

On our wedding day, Sam and his wife Kristin (Kristin Jean Photography) worked flawlessly together to document the day. We loved having them around!! They were flexible, creative, encouraging, professional and just made everyone feel so comfortable.

Finally, Sam went the extra mile for our wedding video. My husband's brother passed away 4 years ago, and that was an important part of our journey and wedding day. Sam took the time to find footage of him to incorporate. It was the perfect balance of our grief and joy all in one day. Sam captured it all just beautifully and we couldn't be more grateful.

Throughout the whole wedding planning journey, Sam was super responsive. Everything happened in a timely manner and I was never left wondering what was going on. Sam came to our rescue through the help of a family friend when our videographer plan fell through just weeks before our wedding. I semi-last minute hired Sam based on a referral from a friend as the videographer for our wedding day. My husband and I originally decided not to allocate money for a videographer as we thought pictures would be enough. When my grandparents were no longer able to travel to be at our wedding, it was important to me to capture the day for them. More than that, each feature film gives the viewer an intimate look and feel into all of the little things and moments that make each wedding day special and unique to each couple.
Working with Sam was so easy and just the most natural thing in the world. He took the initiative to understand our wedding day schedule and built his plans around it. He also he also listened to our concerns and really took them to heart. On the day of our wedding, Sam showed up on time and better dressed than some of our guests, and was friendly, accommodating, and professional. He’s kind of like a video ninja - we didn't realize he was there most of the time, which resulted in some truly candid shots of us and our guests.
Sam turned our videos around in record time. We got our first look and full feature film about 2 months after our wedding and we were blown away by the quality. Sam perfectly captured everything that was so special about our wedding day, from the fun we had getting ready to the privacy and intimacy of our first look, from the extremely personal ceremony to the amazing dance party at our reception. He clearly took great care to preserve everything that made our wedding ours while creating a Samuel Roland piece of art. These films are gorgeous living mementos of one of my favorite days and I will treasure them forever.
