I have been shooting for 6 years professionally depending on whether or not you include going to school for it. (6 years without school!) I grew up in a small town outside of Chicago and by outside I mean like really outside. Like two hours outside..surrounded by cornfields…home of John Deere and Ronald Reagan.. not a city girl by any means. My husband, a Georgia native, could not understand my draw to country music…until he went home with me at Christmas and we got stuck behind a corn combine on the why going 10mph! ha! You see, I may not be SOUTHERN, but I am a heck of a lot more COUNTRY then my husband is or ever will be ;)

Moving to California to get my bachelors in photography from Brooks Institute of Photography, I was able to spend 6 wonderful years all down the coast of California. I worked for 2.5 years for celebrity wedding photographer, Mike Colón shooting some of the ridiculous weddings I will probably ever see. A simply incredible irreplaceable time in my life. While in California, I met my amazing, supportive, gorgeous, humorous husband who I am lucky enough to get to spend my life with.

In late 2009, we decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia which we now call home. We both travel a ridiculous amount for work, so my husband likes to joke that we are citizens of a lot of state, but our permanent address it Georgia. In January 2012, we were blessed with the arrival of our first child Dane is, as his name means, a light. Happiest baby you will ever meet and I swear I’m not biased.. well maybe a bit.
