If I make a will, I am putting Carissa and Stephanie in it. I have been going to Carissa for cuts, etc., for years, and was very confident about my day-of style as a result. I moved to Los Angeles a couple of years ago, and despite trying salons from Orange County to Beverly Hills, I haven't found anyone who does as good of a job. Wichita is crazy lucky to have Rituals.
Carissa and Stephanie work in tandem on wedding days, splitting up prep work and updos. I am constantly amazed by how Carissa can take what you're describing and make it a reality, but better than you imagined, and our wedding day hair was no exception.
We had several girls all with different aesthetics. From teased, messy, and superfull to alternative with braiding and interesting shapes, she made everyone's hair look amazing and also made it suit each girl's face and personality. My little sister, the flower girl, always comes up with the weirdest ideas (last Christmas she wanted a catapult). She let me know the day of the wedding that she wanted a braid all the way around her head with a bun on top. It sounded super weird to me, but Carissa heard her, gave her exactly what she wanted and made her look angelic in the process.
My morning in the shop was a big part of my day. It was an opportunity for the mothers, bridesmaids, flower girl and a couple close friends to be together and celebrate, and gave us all a chance to enjoy the day before everything got crazy. We brought in snacks and mimosas, and had a makeup artist come to the salon for the girls who wanted a professional to do their makeup.
Carissa and Stephanie followed us to the wedding site with their styling tools and touched us all up before we went.
