Hi! My name is Alex and I am the owner of Petals by Alex. I entered the floral industry in 2020, not knowing that I would be finding my calling. I have experience in event design, managing a retail store, and spend my time freelancing as a designer for other Baltimore florists. During my undergraduate career, I studied Environment Conservation. My heart has always been with plants and flowers ever since I can remember. Most of my working experience prior to 2020 was in garden centers, plant stores, landscaping... you get the idea! I find inspiration in nature and admiring each element and flower used in design. Combining my love for nature and art has flourished into a business, and I am so thrilled I found this amazing industry to bring my passion to your event.
