We have used Passion For Pastry for our other private functions for several years now and we decided to use them again for our wedding cake and of course our 4-tier Vanilla Rum Cake was to die for! There were many elements that we provided to make it "Sparkle"

They produced a beautiful cake.

Unfortunately, the Marriott gave me a choice to use this baker or another and we chose this one. Everything seemed great at first. Our cake was included in our package from the Marriott, but we chose an upgraded cake that required an extra per person charge. It would've been no problem had we received the cake that we ordered!!!! It was completely wrong! The only thing they got right was the number of layers (3) and the shape of each layer (square). It was white and was supposed to be ivory, and the sugar flowers were supposed to mimic the flowers in my bouquets and centerpieces....the ones she put on the cake weren't even anywhere in my arrangements!!!! She used green buttercream frosting for "leaves" which made it look totally cheap!!!! AND, the flavor was wrong (and the cake STALE!)!!! Why bother going for a tasting and to pick out your cake if she's just going to make whatever she feels like making?!?!? And, like my florist, she was unwilling to cooperate or offer us any refunds. In fact, we showed up there and she told us she was too busy and we needed to leave. Nice.

Buyer Beware! I ordered my grooms cake from Passion for Pastry. Although it was very tasty, I am soooooooooo disappointed with the design and customer service. The cake was supposed to resemble Moroso Motorsports Drag Strip and I was very specific with the details I wanted and I even included pictures. No detail was correct except the color of the cars. The cake was not ready when I said I was going to pick it up and I was charged to have it delivered! Although the lady I correspoded with was nice, the person in charge would not speak with me and was unwilling to offer any refunds. She said she'd give me a small credit for my next purchase, like i'd really give my business to them again?!

Recommended for good tasting desserts, but GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR DESIGNS!

This was the worst possible cake I have ever seen!!! A bride only gets one chance in her life to have the best looking wedding cake. When the delivery person brought it to the venue, they left after a second and their were cracks, discoloring, and it basically looked like a 5 year old could make a better cake. I'm still trying to get a hold of them and still no response. I deserve a refund. I spent $700 on my cake and I could of made a better one myself. DO NOT BUY A CAKE FROM PASSION FOR PASTRY!!
