Orion Hill Weddings and Events is a mansion wedding venue located in Arlington, Tennessee. With spacious interiors and rolling lawn and lakeside areas, you can enjoy all this historic estate has to offer for your special day. The staff will do their utmost to help you realize your wedding vision.

Facilities and Capacity

This venue offers 10,000 square feet of space and 20 acres of grounds to host your wedding day celebrations. Ceremony seating, reception tables, and chairs are available for up to 250 guests.

Services Offered

Orion Hill Weddings and Events can host engagement parties, elopements, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. Site rental fee includes access to the entire mansion and grounds, 12 hours of rental time, a rehearsal walk, a staff liaison for vendor deliveries, basic linens, and on-site security/parking attendant. Prior tours of the estate can be arranged by appointment in advance. Get-ready rooms are available, as are setup and cleanup services.

Cuisine

Orion Hill Weddings and Events is happy to accommodate outside vendors to provide food, wedding cake, and beverages for your celebrations. Any caterer is welcome at the estate so long as they have liability insurance and necessary licenses.

History

The mansion can be traced back to the 1830's, when Alexander Donelson, nephew of President and Mrs. Andrew Jackson, built a home replicating the Hermitage. His family lived and farmed on the estate until the house was burned in the 1920’s. In the 1990’s, Dr. and Mrs. Graves built a Greek-revival style house on the site of the original house. In 2018, Cathy and Don Wilson bought the property and decided to share its beauty and history with others.

Orion Hill Weddings and Events is located a 10-minute drive from downtown Arlington. Travelers from Memphis or Memphis International Airport is a 30-minute drive.
