Say “I do” next to the heart of the beloved Great Smoky Mountain National Park on our jaw-dropping outdoor ceremony lawn – set amongst the trees and with views of the iconic Smoky Mountains.

Our stunning reception space is designed to immerse you and your guests in the surroundings of the Smokies. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows open the space to those iconic misty mountain views and natural light. Reclaimed wood and clean lines allow the building to blend into the landscape in a way that feels effortless yet elevated. Our bar room is the perfect backdrop for your cocktail hour with an eye-catching red marble bar and one-of-a-kind stained glass design details.

Plus, a private bridal suite provides a convenient and spacious retreat for the bridal party, to ensure every minute of your special day is perfect – from start to finish.

At the heart of Open Air’s ethos is a desire to provide our guests with the most luxurious, elevated experience while maintaining a seamless connection to nature. To deliver on this promise, we partnered with award-winning local designers, architects, and contractors with deep roots in the area, as well as an Architectural Digest Top 100 furnishing company, to outfit the space. Every detail of the venue is designed to feel timeless, setting the stage for celebrations that are as sophisticated as they are personal.

Our property also boasts six two-bedroom, two-bath cabins so that you and your closest friends and family can all stay on site. Each cabin is set amongst the trees across our sprawling 17-acre property to ensure complete privacy. Built with the same attention to detail & high-end design, the cabins feature sprawling, picturesque floor-to-ceiling windows and private outdoor decks that invite the outdoors in. They provide the perfect retreat for family and friends, allowing the wedding party to stay close while enjoying the seclusion and comfort of their own space.

Our property is a short drive from the heart of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and conveniently only an hour drive from Knoxville city center and McGhee Tyson Airport. There’s no shortage of entertainment available to guests in the area – from the park itself to Dollywood, Anakeesta, and downtown Gatlinburg. Driveable from more than 60% of the country, it’s an ideal destination for your “I dos.”

Opening Open Air is a longtime dream-turned-reality, with an immense level of care dedicated to providing guests with the highest-quality design, authentic experiences, and luxurious 5-star service.

Ensuring your wedding is uniquely yours in the most jaw-dropping setting with the highest-level of service is a non-negotiable for our team. Lauren brings a career of wedding industry expertise to the table. Starting out as an editor at BRIDES magazine, Lauren has also contributed to Martha Stewart Weddings, NJ Bride, consulted for bridal fashion brands, styled brides, and planned and coordinated weddings.
