For a wedding ceremony or small reception, enjoy the glowing warmth and exquisite details of restored Griswold family rooms. The large landing on the gorgeous wooden staircase accommodates a small bridal party and musicians. Our largest indoor gallery, the Ilgenfritz Gallery, seats up to 150 people for a ceremony. A covered L-shaped veranda overlooking the grounds is a pleasant spot when the weather is fine and perfect for an outdoor cocktail hour.

The Museum's Griswold House is an intimate setting for a reception. Choose the main floor Dining Room and Library for a seated meal of up to 40 people. These ornate rooms are much like they were when the Griswold family occupied the house. For larger receptions of up to 90 guests, add the modern first-floor galleries. Our largest gallery, the Ilgenfritz Gallery, can seat up to 100 people with dancing. If you choose, you may use the historic grounds to accommodate up to 300 people for a tented event.
