Located steps away from the 400-year-old Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the New Mexico Museum of Art is a center for artistic expression and heritage as well as a wedding venue. It is a place imbued with culture where you can celebrate your wedding with sophistication and style.
Facilities and Capacity
There are a number of spaces available for rent at the New Mexico Museum of Art, which was constructed in 1917 in a New Mexico Pueblo Revival style. In addition, for an immersive wedding experience to remember, you can book the entire museum for your special day. One of the popular event locations is the Coutryard which is in full bloom from May through September.
The Sulpture Gardens, New Wing, Clarke and Goodwin Galleries are perfect gathering places for guests while they wait for the main event. Weddings, from the ceremony to the reception, can also be hosted in The Courtyard, which is cared for by the Santa Fe Garden Club. Here guests can enjoy the trickle of fountains while gazing at paintings by Will Shuster and Frederico Vigil.
Larger weddings, can rent the Lobby with The Courtyard to allow for more space. The St. Francis Auditorium is suitable for very large weddings and can accommodate up to 450 people. The murals of and benches give it a historic and serene atmosphere.
