Wow. I loved my experience with Elizabeth and Musicians Unlimited. I had guests tell us that they've never cried BEFORE a wedding even started until now. The musicians were incredible and it really added that something special to my ceremony. I literally cried walking down the aisle because I was so emotional. I absolutely recommend using Musicians Unlimited for your wedding. Trust me, your guests will talk about it long after your wedding and it will add a sentimental touch for the bride and groom. (They also know LOTS of contemporary music... and will learn specific songs for an extra fee!)

I thought my request would be too small and unusual of a gig for them to bother with. But, the rep made me feel like my needs were very important. Very professional, very responsive. The strolling violinist was wonderful.

Elizabeth was wonderful to work with! I was nervous about having live musicians at my event at first, then I met with Elizabeth. She was incredibly helpful and guided me through the process of selecting my music based on my ideas. I was at ease the moment I walked out the door. I knew everything would be taken care of. She was even able to write the music for songs that I really wanted at the wedding. The day of the wedding, I could not have been more pleased. I had Elizabeth playing the harp, as well as a cellist. It was magical. I would recommend them a hundred times over!

Love that they were willing to play our selections. They were quite specific about their needs as far as location on the site.

We hired a quartet from Musicians Unlimited, first of all the music at the reception was beautiful! We did have a couple of mishaps that weren't pleasant to deal with. First while the bridal party was taking pictures, we were going in and out of the venue (since it was 100+ degrees outside) to stay somewhat cool. and we were asked (not in a nice way) how many more times we were going to do it since her harp was getting out of tune (this was 3 hours before the ceremony with what we thought plenty of time for her to tune up her harp after pictures). The other mishap is that we had a miscommunication about the lineup of the bridal party, and instead of being calm and helpful, Elizabeth made us feel dumb by not remembering (this is all during pictures). We finally figured it out, and the ceremony was beautiful, but they just seemed silly things to deal with hours before the ceremony.

guests loved them

My fiancé hired a string quartet to play before the wedding and during a solo. We had several compliments on their performance. We had a special compilation written for two songs. They refused to play them in D, and we had to change the key. Very stressful a few days before the wedding.

I have a very mixed review for Elizabeth. On one hand, the music was beautiful and I loved her voice as a soloist, but on the other hand I had an issue with the contract and felt like I had to do a lot of running around to get her and the church to work together. I hired Musicians Unlimited to play the harp and the cello for two hours (a half hour before my wedding mass began, the hour during, and a half hour after as the guests left). I wanted to hire Elizabeth to sing during mass (one hour of her time-- 3 songs), however, she said that I must book her for two hours for the singing. I was already paying her for two hours for playing the harp and wanted to hire her to sing for one hour, but she insisted on me double booking her for two hours. The contract I had with her was for the harp and cello, and I said I was willing to make out a separate one hour contract for the singing, but she refused. I ended up paying her double for the two hours. She claimed this was normal, but it seemed wrong to me and my fiancé, and it left a bad taste in my mouth since it was never in our contract. I don't know what is normal, as I have never hired musicians before. The other problem I had was getting her to work with the church (Christ the King). She said the musical director there is very particular, and he definitely is, so I give her leeway on this one, but it was a real struggle to get the two to communicate, and I always had to play the middleman. THIS DID NOT MAKE IT EASY ON A BRIDE! We have more to coordinate than music. But like I said, her music was beautiful, the rest was just a hassle.
