Amanda was the perfect selection for our wedding photographer. From the beginning of the planning process to the post-production of our wedding album, Amanda was an integral part of the success of our wedding. On our first meeting, Amanda was prepared with useful information on the area (Logan, OH) that she began researching after our initial contact via e-mail. She sat with us and took the time to develop a timeline for the entire day, with specific notes on each of our requests.

As part of our wedding, we requested that we wanted to go on a hike through one of the many trails in the area. Amanda was immediately on board and helped us choose the location based on what was feasible in the timeline we developed together. She brought up potential challenges and talked us through each possible solution so that we could make an informed decision on what we would like for our wedding day. We also decided to hire her for our engagement photos. She had several suggestions for locations in the Columbus area to take our pictures. The photos ended up being some of the best we have ever taken together.

On the day of the wedding, she and a second shooter (who was equally talented) arrived early to be prepared for the full day ahead. From start to finish, she and her partner somehow managed to be constantly there assessing angles and lighting to generate the perfect shot while also being completely invisible. This made her the perfect documentarian for our day together.

After the wedding, she drafted an album based on selections we previewed from an online album and we set up a meeting with her (she was very flexible). We visited her studio where she pulled our photos up on the big screen and sat with us while we assisted in the design process. The result was an album of photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Amanda is fantastic! She was our photographer for our engagement and wedding pictures. She is very friendly and personable. She is also a genuine person who makes you feel comfortable during your sessions. She is very flexible and willing to adapt to your schedule. We used Amanda for my brother's wedding at Creekside in Gahanna. She was amazing from Day One. She has so much experience working with weddings that she was practically our wedding planner too - at the first meeting, she sat with me and the bride and helped us plan out the timeline for the entire day. It was so helpful! And she kept us on schedule the day of too. The best part, of course, is that the pictures turned out great - I never really noticed her during the ceremony or reception but apparently she was everywhere because she got great pics of everything and everyone! Highly recommend.

Amanda was my best (and favorite) pick out of all my wedding vendors! She is highly organized, quick to respond, friendly, flexible, and open to your suggestions. I knew right away when I met her at a wedding show in Columbus that I was going to hire her for my photographer because she answered all of my questions without trying to upgrade me or sell me on a higher package, and she was the most professional vendor I have ever met! Amanda met with me several times throughout the planning process, put together a timeline for me which was extremely helpful and handy to be able to pass out to the wedding party and family, and even instructed my clueless groom and I on how to cut the cake!! Amanda was amazing for our wedding! She made us feel so relaxed and she really captured my husband and me so naturally! She's so easy to work with, and really made our day feel special. The power even went out at our reception and the photographs she took there turned out incredible!

We picked Amanda Muschlitz because she is an accomplished photographer, as can be seen through her portfolio of work. You could tell that she really knew how to capture people in a great moment in the most true and complimentary ways. She accommodated our schedule. I appreciated the general wedding planning advice such as a timeline, a list of contact information, and suggested groupings of pictures for the wedding day, that we were able to customize. Amanda was able to beautifully capture our vision for a fall leaves themed engagement session locally at Creekside in Gahanna. My husband and I were both shy in front of the camera, but Amanda helped us get over our feelings really captured the love between us in both her suggested poses and in those in-between candid moments. On the wedding day, Amanda was able to come to Miami University in Oxford, OH to capture the moments of our big day. Amanda worked seamlessly with my videographer, and she was able to deal with large groups of family and friends for photographs after the ceremony in a way that was so organized and easy to understand that it was beautiful. The consummate professional, she always spoke in a pleasant tone and volume (I have been to a wedding where the photographer was yelling and angry, and Amanda is the picture of calm and control). Further, my parents are divorced and Amanda was able to coordinate so that there was no awkwardness and only happiness. She kept everyone happy and coordinated with multiple vendors throughout the day to make sure that everything was happening on time, and she paid attention to even the small details that are normally a wedding planner's forte. Amanda even helped to make sure that the reception was going according to schedule. You only get one shot at capturing all of those moments on your big day, and Amanda captured everything that we hoped for and more.

Amanda Muschlitz and Muschlitz Photography LLC went above and beyond to capture the special moments of mine and my husband's big day. We knew we wanted to do something creative and fun, and were pleased to find that Amanda immediately jumped on board with our comic book inspiration and was more than able to photograph all the perfect moments of our unique wedding. She made sure to photograph all of the little comic book details we had included in our wedding, and we have gotten so many compliments on the photos we've shared with family and friends.

Working with Amanda was a very professional, positive, and affordable experience. She met with us multiple times before the wedding, and always made herself available to answer any questions I might have. She created a wedding timeline to keep me organized and a photograph checklist to ensure she captured all the photos and family groupings we desired.

Amanda Muschlitz did an AMAZING job capturing our wedding! She went above and beyond from the start, making time to talk to the church coordinator and even going to mass just to get a feel for how our day would run. Many other photographers we met with were either not proffessional or were somewhat snobby about their art. Not Amanda! She is very proffessional but also sweet and easy going! Amanda photographed our September 2010 wedding and exceeded our expectations in every possible way. She was the complete professional but still had everyone feeling super comfortable. She was with us for practically every waking moment and left no stone unturned.
