Mark Elkins is an Atlanta wedding photographer based in Athens, Georgia. His laid back approach to shooting weddings results in authentic storytelling, focusing more on anticipating and capturing moments as they happen, and less on the heavy handedness of creating something that’s less than a reflection of the relationship between you, your partner, and your loved ones.

To this day, his most prized compliments are “We didn’t even know you were there” and “dude, you’re like a ninja”. It’s the moments in between the moments you think you want; the sly smirks and affirming glances. And it’s the moments you didn’t realize even happened. Because while a wedding is a celebration of love between two people, it’s also a celebration of family and friends. It’s a whirlwind of moments shared between all of the most important people in your lives.

That’s what Mark strives to capture.

Beyond his dedication to visual storytelling, Mark is the father of two insanely cute kids, a sci-fi nerd, an outdoorsman, and he enjoys nights in with good friends, good beer, and tabletop games.
