We were so excited when we first spoke with Luke about capturing our wedding day. I knew I wanted a videographer in addition to our photographer so that we could truly remember every part of our day in the years to come -- and WOW, did Luke deliver on all that and more!! The final video we received from Luke was incredible and makes me cry every time I watch it, but the special features and ceremony footage were so priceless to us as well! I am so overjoyed that I have footage of our special dances, first looks, and precious moments with family.
In addition to the amazing quality of video, Luke's presence on our day was so amazing! Everyone in our wedding party was raving about how kind he was and he really was like a fly on the wall when it came to capturing the day. He made every moment all about us and was super quick and efficient in getting shots so that we could spend our time with friends and family instead of taking photos + video.

I watched Luke work at a couple of weddings that I was at in Lexington and Louisville. He is one of the best out there and I would definitely recommend him.

I cannot say enough good things about Luke and this review that I’m writing up, along with the 5 stars that he’s easily earned, just simply does not do him nor his company justice. Luke and I clicked from the very beginning during our initial introductory phone call. He was very professional throughout while still talking to me as though I were a close friend or relative, instead of talking to me as though I were another client or another source of income. He made sure to follow up with us a couple more times before the wedding to make sure that our wedding film will be personalized according to what we want captured and what we feel the tone of the film should be. His charisma and wonderfully bubbly personality shone through the day of the wedding as he worked his magic with my friends and family, all the while trying to immortalize my day in film. Although he’s never worked with them before, Luke drove all the way to St. Louis and instantly connected with my photographers and worked so well with them that they appeared as if they were from the same studio. I can’t even count how many times I’ve had guests come up to ask me if I had known Luke previously or if he was a close friend, he’s that personable.

Enough about Luke though and let’s move onto what he produced. In setting the tone for the film, he reached out to us with the two songs he thought would fit best for what we’re looking for and the first song was slower and more romantic, perfectly capturing the tone of us getting ready, the first look, and the wedding ceremony, while the second tone was more upbeat and perfectly reflected the spirit of our reception. The wedding video was masterfully crafted, with him fully utilizing natural and indoor lighting as he filmed our outdoor photo shoot and our indoor ceremony and reception. There’s not a single moment that we thought was left out and there wasn’t a single second that we thought was out of place. We’ve shown the film multiple times to each member of our friends and family and we’ve yet to grow tired of watching it. Perhaps the only thing we don’t enjoy watching is our first dance, which includes our awkward swaying to the sounds of our close friend singing, which Luke used a mic to record to ensure that our friend’s singing is recorded with studio quality for posterity.

Luke Woodward was one of the best things about our big day, he shot my cousins wedding last year and the whole time i planned I got more and more excited about having him get footage of our day. He was super organized, and considerate of all the things we wanted to make sure to remember.

If we could give Luke 10 out of 5 stars we would in heartbeat!

The best decision my husband and I made during wedding planning was the decision for Luke to be our videographer. He was top-notch through the entire process. Whether during the planning stages or during the day - Luke was more than available to meet our needs. Our wedding film is beyond amazing, Luke captured every moment - large and small. My now husband was hesitant to agree that we needed a wedding video, but after receiving our film - he said it was the best thing we did. He loves it more than the pictures and says he will even watch it over and over. It is something that we will cherish forever. DO NOT skimp on videographers in your wedding budget, this is the best money you'll spend! Luke is hands down the best there is!
