We only had to meet with Lulu Cakes once and they created the most perfect wedding cake. I've always loved lavender honey. Lulu Cakes had no way of knowing that. But somehow, they did. At the tasting, that was one of the filling options they presented. It was fate. I described a few different aspects of what I was looking for and they surpassed my wildest dreams. Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect in every way. Delicious and gorgeous. I highly recommend them.

Our hotel contracted Lulu's to do our wedding cake since we had booked an elopement package for destination wedding. We picked the red velvet cake, and we LOVED it. It was so pretty and I just can't get over how delicious that cake was. If we ever need a cake or pastry in Savannah, my husband and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Mini chocolate cupcakes
Lemon-ginger cheesecake bites
White chocolate-raspberry bites

It was a little non-traditional, but our guests loved the variety. They were super cute and bite-sized, so guests could still mingle, grab a drink and walk around with desserts in hand. Lulu's did the set up of the desserts and came back later to pick up all the cake stands. The little bites were a big hit!!!!

I cannot say enough about how amazing my wedding cake was!!! Working with Natasha from Lulu's was fantastic! I loved her ideas and her cakes! I decided to go with her grapefruit cake with grapefruit buttercream icing and OH. MY. GOSH. it was incredible!!!!! I definitely knew I wanted something unique and something that would be a good choice for summertime and it was a hit among my guests! I have to state that I am not your average cake eater; I have to have moist deliciousness with super tasty icing or I won't even touch it! And Lulu's was truly amazing!!! Natasha is a genius and so fun to work with! She even made a beautiful peony (I think using fondant or something) as a decorative addition for the side of the cake and it turned out GORGEOUS! Natasha sketched the entire cake and sent me a preview and she called it "A Little Something Different". I loved it! The grapefruit cake was something she recently came up with for her mother's birthday and so she was excited that I chose this for my wedding cake. It was so delicious!!! Thank to Lulu's and Natasha for making the wedding cake of my dreams!!!

I ordered 2 cakes for my non traditional destination beach wedding 48 hours before my wedding. I didn't taste the cakes prior either! I went based on the reviews that I found when I googled cheesecake makers in Savannah, GA. My husband loves cheesecake and this bakery had rave reviews for their cheesecake! What won me over is that they were very responsive and laid back! I didn't want to feel pressured and I didn't want to feel like my wedding was too little for them. I never once felt like that. I felt like I was just as important as someone having a huge wedding. I ordered a vanilla bean cheesecake and a red velvet cake with cheesecake frosting. The cheesecake had chocolate covered strawberries around it. They deliver, but I picked up the cakes in order to save some money for my DIY wedding. They packaged everything up nicely. They put it in the car for me as well.

The cakes were amazing! Huge! Way bigger than I thought for my 22 guests. We had so much cake left over but it didn't go to waste. Everyone was amazed that I had just ordered the cakes 2 days before and they were that delicious! Nice and fresh! Thank you so much Lulu's!!

We asked Lulu's to make our wedding cakes, but we used their regular cakes to have a more "grandma's homemade" dessert bar feel. We had the Suspension cake, Strawberry with butter cream, Bananas fosters cheesecake, white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and two trays of their mini pies/tarts. They were all amazing and people loved the option of being able to have a little slice of each one they wanted. Lulu's had no problem making each of the cakes for us with only a few days notice. Their cakes were definitely a perfect ending to our wedding!

Natasha was such a gem to work with! We took a non traditional route: we had small, assorted desserts along with their signature Strawberry Suspension Cake and it was perfect! Several of our friends have asked us and called to ask if they ship their desserts, it was that good!! If you don't check them out, you are missing out!!

We went with Lulu's after doing a series of tastings for our wedding day... there was no comparison to what we tasted at Lulu's.

We worked with Natasha and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a very specific idea to serve individual desserts in mason jars rather than have one large cake. Natasha was on-board with out idea right away and made it into a delicious reality for our day. She created a variety of desserts (including cakes, pies and bread pudding) that would work with our concept which was awesome.. everyone got a dessert of their choice rather than having just one option. Each cake and dessert that she created was just delicious, we had so many compliments from guest at the wedding that they not only loved the idea but that the desserts were decadent. My only regret is that I didn't get to taste them all!!

I cannot say enough great things about Lulu's and I would highly recommend them for a wedding or for any event as they are very versatile based on your needs/requests. We are so happy we chose Lulu's!!

Seriously, these people can BAKE! Who wants a delicious, beautiful wedding cake that is unique and affordable? We did! I heard about their bakery/bar before I even went to Savannah - but I'm glad I found it! We ordered a Tiramisu cake for our wedding reception and it was out of this world delicious! PLUS it was under $50! Freshly made, large enough for a dozen people or more - and sooo good! We had raves!

I emailed my questions, but did not get a response, so after a few days I went into the southside location. I ordered 3 cheesecakes and 2 dozen strawberries for our wedding reception. I very much enjoy Lulu's, as the taste is always perfect (I eat dessert at the downtown location quite often). However, I was not impressed by the southside staff, as they promised they'd cut my cakes for me (I wanted the slices to look professional), and they were not cut when I received them. I will say though, overall, I did receive compliments on the taste.
