Hiring Luca was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. From beginning to end he was a joy to work with in all ways, and his photography of our celebration is exquisite. I am VERY picky when it comes to photography and all my expectations were exceeded by Luca and his work. Many of our guests have commented that his work is the best wedding photography they've ever seen: he captures a spirit and a beauty that feels authentic and alive, and is the opposite of overly staged cookie cutter wedding photography. He's also a delight to be around: classy, fun, thoughtful and game for anything. We had some quite specific requests and he made everything work. For example, we did not want to hear or see a camera during our ceremony, wanting it to be quite intimate. Undaunted, Luca on his own initiative climbed a tree (!) so that he could give us the intimacy we desired while also capturing the photo he knew we'd want. Additionally, we didn't want to spend much time on formal portraits, and so Luca managed what has to be the the fastest group portrait session known to mankind--and yet got pictures where everyone has eyes open and looks good! He just has a great willingness to make whatever happens work: during our reception, we had an epic hailstorm (in June!) and Luca without complaint and with joy kept right on snapping away and ensuring we'd remember that wild turn of events. His rates are extremely fair for the many hours he provides. He also offers a great deal for bringing on a second photographer, which we almost didn't do and are so glad that we did. We also had Luca come for two hours and take pics at our night-before gathering, and we highly recommend that, as it gave us a chance to meet and get a feel for each other, plus get some more gorgeous pics. Luca has our standout recommendation with no reservations, just enthusiasm.

Luca is professional, knowledgeable, and captures great moments without even noticing he captured it. Great fun, experience and easy to collaborate with him. My husband wanted more portrait style and I wanted more candidate photographs. He was able to capture both beautifully. We hired him from abroad and was available, flexible friendly, respectful and understanding. During our ceremony it started to rain and he was calm and made suggestions and gladly took pictures we requested. It was a pleasure meeting Luca and our family enjoyed having him be our photographer as he felt like family.

Luca was the perfect wedding photographer for our Tuscany wedding. He was incredibly warm and loving, and he got along wonderfully with all of our guests, making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Luca is an amazing photographer and fantastic person. My husband and I exchanged vows on a rainy April 14th in Vassena, Luca and team helped in more ways than anticipated.
