Rev. Dr. Burton was a pleasure to work with for both of our wedding ceremonies! He was our officiant at our small wedding in 2020 due to COVID and he was so great we hired him again for our larger ceremony in 2021. He took the time to meet with us before the wedding to get to know us so the ceremony was more personal. Fantastic to work with and very responsive.

Reverend Burton was so easy to work with. He took the time to get to know us and ask questions that we didn't even think of asking about. We could tell right away that he wanted our ceremony to be a successful and memorable occasion. He was professional and personable. He did such a good job of interviewing us that after the wedding many of our guests thought that we had known him for years! He stayed in touch right up to the big day, was on time and well prepared. I definitely would recommend his services.

Rev. Burton was very professional and communication was great and timely through the entire process. Since we didn’t know Rev. Burton, he sent an in depth questionnaire to “get to know us” which was helpful for him when writing our ceremony out. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a better officiant for our wedding. He married my daugther on march 16, 2018 in Ellijay. we could not have been more pleased with his patience and professionalism. i would recommend him to anyone wanting to get married in the area. and as a bonus he loved my burlap flower bouquets I had made. lol

Such a great experience! Suggested locations for a last minute vow renewal, took pictures and customized our vows for us. Very professional and heart warming.

Rev. Burton was perfect! He worked with us throughout the months going into the ceremony. He included wording we preferred in the ceremony, asked us what we wanted him to wear, arrived on time, and prepared with all documents. I would absolutely recommend! My husband and I do not attend a specific church regularly and do not come from the same religious background. Rev. Burton incorporated a little bit of everything into the ceremony as to not make it stuffy, but rather a funny and lighthearted wedding. He asked us questions in order to be as prepared as possible and provided input as to how things typically work with what documents we needed, what the typical process was, etc. He was thoughtful and was as excited about our wedding as we were. After the wedding, he sent a thoughtful letter which included a nice pamphlet he created of the ceremony wording and included a faux wedding certificate until the new one comes in. Extremely professional and I cannot express how thoughtful he was. He took care of everything! I hope I never need another wedding ceremony, but if I did, I would absolutely use him again. Our wedding was 6/17/17 and Rev. Tony did an amazing job! We actually contacted several officiants, but Tony was the fastest to respond and the most friendly! He was very personable and asked lots of questions about us, so we really felt like he had known us forever. He was great at communicating via phone, text, email or even in person if we requested. He was also very easy to work with! We were married at a vineyard & had an idea for a "wine box ceremony." Tony didn't hesitate at all & helped us with our idea! Lastly, we are not a religious couple and Tony was very accepting and did not judge or pressure us for a certain type of ceremony. He listened to what we wanted and the ceremony ended up being perfect, exactly like why we had imagined it would be! I would highly recommmend him!

Rev. Burton is a wonderful officiant. We were very unsure and indecisive about what our ceremony would be like-Rev. Burton was able to guide us through creating our ceremony and customizing it to be a reflection of us. He is easy to work with and came to our rehearsal, as well. Rev. Burton helped us to make a personal ceremony that was short and sweet. He was also very speedy in filing our marriage license while we went on our honeymoon. We had a great experience, and would definitely recommend him to other couples, as well!
