They are so kind and helpful and are willing to show the building anytime you ask to see it

We had our ceremony and reception in the encampment building at kansas state fair grounds. We had a winter wedding so having them in the same building was a must. This building was a great choice. The fair staff is easy to deal with.

I was really glad we held our reception at this location. The people were very flexible and it was the best place for the cost. This location was also somewhere that was easy for others to locate. The Kansas State Fairgrounds offers a number of different buildings on the property for someone to reserve, depending on the size and the needs that you have.

I had my reception in Dillon Hall, in the Encampment Building. It worked GREAT! Definitely would have it again in there.

The Kansas State Fair has a variety of venues available for any wedding budget. They are prompt in returning your calls and flexible with schedules.

Even though they make it sound like a handshake is all that needs to be done to secure your date, do NOT believe them! Make sure you get everything in writing and that when you do get it in writing that it is correct. The venue really can't be beat in the area, but the staff is not very helpful. If you have a wedding planner helping you then it may be better, but I did everything myself. I found them difficult to get a hold of and I always received really vague answers to my questions. They were only slightly redeemed by being friendly. The building was perfect and situated our 250 guest list perfectly. We used the domestic arts building.

took the family for a beautiful day at the fair. Spent a few hundred off the back to enter and wristbands. 45 min later I run into my brother and aunts killer working with the Hutchison prison crew, who mom was visiting her killer soon. smdh. State fair and Hutchinson prison do better.
