We are thankful to call Rev Debby a new found friend in life. She officiated our wedding on 05/22/15 and help us from everything to creating our ceremony, to making our vows and the many edits. She even helped us last minute when we were not sure one of readers would be there. She stepped in and all ran smoothly on our special day and we are thankful.

We were fortunate to find Reverend Debby for our September wedding, on such short notice. She was not only professional, but she was also a comfort (I was petrified). She came to meet with us, and walked through not only the ceremony, but the process of how to handle the marriage license, etc. She was very thorough, and helpful beyond description.
My husband and I wanted something traditional, but still with a modern feel, and the ceremony Reverend Debby developed hit the nail right on the head. She worked with us to ensure we were comfortable with the vows, and encouraged us to make the vows our own, by allowing us to modify and add what we wanted – she even included a tribute to both of our grandmothers’ who we lost this year.
Reverend Debby was a true blessing to us, and I thank God we found her!

Rev. Debby was fantastic for our Sept 6th wedding!
She was very easy to communicate with and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an initial phone-call where we talked about what my husband are like and what we are looking for. Rev. Debby understood exactly what we wanted (spiritual ceremony) and drafted a very simple but elegant ceremony to fit just that!
We did not have Rev. Debby attend our rehearsal, but her instructions/ceremony script provided us all the details to run through the rehearsal ourselves (with a stand-in Rev acted out by my husband's uncle).
On the day of, Debby made sure to come up before hand and introduce herself to me, which I really appreciated. The ceremony itself is a blur, as I was just zoning in on my husband to-be and was surprised I said what I was supposed to say at the right time :) Our guests commented how much they liked the nature of our ceremony and how sweet and polite Rev. Debby was.

Reverend Debby was recommended to us by my hairdresser whose wedding she officiated. From the very beginning Rev. Debby was responsive, highly knowledgeable and very kind in her interactions with us. We met with her initially to go over what we envisioned for our ceremony. During that meeting, she walked us through the elements of a standard wedding ceremony and provided us with all of the information we needed to obtain the marriage license. Over the next few weeks we worked with her to add a couple of readings and a mention of deceased loved ones that we wanted incorporated into the ceremony. At the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding, Rev. Debby was both a very reassuring and calming presence and we knew we were clearly in good hands. The ceremony and wedding went better than either of us hoped for and we'll always look back and remember that working with Rev. Debby was a very big reason for that.

There are not enough words to express how grateful we are with Debby for all the effort she made to come to our house and make us feel so comfortable. She is polite, sweet and she will take the stress away with her kind words. The best choice anyone could make.

How can we put into words how professional and incredible Rev. Debby is! She was very responsive, easy to conduct business with, informative, non-judgemental, very warm and inviting and understanding. Even though we are holding a reception celebration next year, we wanted to have an intimate ceremony in D.C. where we first met this year. It was on a short notice of about less than three weeks and she was more than happy to work with us! Rev. Debby did not make her services financially straining and will work with you so you do not feel rushed to gather money. Our ceremony was beautiful!! Her patience is impeccable! We called and asked if it could be pushed an hour back due to a friend traveling from out of town that was a couple of hours behind. We were then stuck in traffic fro almost an hour! I contacted her and she was so pleasant and understanding!! The ceremony was beautiful and the words she put together fit us like a glove. Any and every request we had she worked out with us. Rev. Debby was also very informative on the details before and after the ceremony on the steps we neeed to take with our certificates, names, etc. We are so pleased to have found her and made her the officant and a part of our special day. You are great Rev. Debby and we would recommend you to ANYONE!!

We contacted Rev. Debby in peak wedding season seeking assistance to schedule our ceremony essentially in the wedding world - on short notice. Rev. Debby responded the same day and was so easy to talk to. Rev. Debby is like talking to you best friend. Shea made us feel relaxed and at ease every step of the way, right to the steps at Admiral Dupont's statue in Dupont Circle on our wedding day. Her professional was beyond reproach even when we were late for own wedding. She remained calm and humorous through the entire exchange while we dug our way out of trying to get to the ceremony!
