Josiah, of JK Photo, went to college with my sister and takes beautiful pictures; therefore, I asked if he would travel with us to Florida to capture my wedding weekend. After the wedding, I had a difficult time getting in touch with him. He wouldn't return emails, texts or calls. When he would answer one of my many emails, it was with an excuse about why my pictures weren't available to view. We finally were able to order our pictures on July 1, 2012 and received a confirmation email stating they would be delivered in 2 weeks. For 4 months I emailed, called, or sent a text, and I either got an excuse, a lie or no response at all. I finally received part of my order on November 20, 2012, nearly 5 months after the order was placed. The quality of the pictures is terrible. I emailed him and texted him a couple of times about the rest of my order which was a “linen hand-built proof book.” On December 5, 2012 I received an email stating “”instead of a book, I decided to print each file as a separate 8x10.” I then received a follow up email stating “although you have 40 image files listed in your original order, there are 8 files that will not be included.” He then went on to explain, “as of one month ago” (which would have been November5, 2012, 5 months after I ordered my pictures), “your project was archived in the JK server” and “the JK staff simply has no more time to sift through anymore image files for this project.” He ended his email stating that once I receive my pictures “all further communication with JK photo, the JK photo staff, and/or Josiah will be terminated.” I received the 8x10 photos and they are of poor quality - people’s heads and faces are cut off and several of the photos are off center. He was difficult to work with and unprofessional. I don't want any other bride to have to go through what I went through.
