Jenn was an amazing photographer! The way she captured our special day EXACTLY how I wanted it was amazing!! I couldn’t recommend a photographer more! She was super professional and so much fun at the same time! I get emotional everytime I look at my wedding photos! 100% would recommend!!

I scheduled an appointment with Jen as a gift to my sister and we greatly looked forward to her capturing photos of our family. On the day of our appointment, my family arrived on time, at the location Jen and I agreed to via email. Jen failed to appear and we were not able to reach her to discuss our weekend session because her office hours are M-F only (per her email following the missed session.) My family waited over an hour in hopes she would appear, but she never did. Later that evening, Jen did not apologize for her no-show and claimed we were responsible for not confirming the appointment 48 hours in advance. An email was never received to confirm the appointment. Additionally, we had 2 prior appointments with Jen that were never confirmed 48 hours in advance, yet they were maintained on her calendar, as evidenced by day of communication from her to suggest rescheduling due to inclement weather. Her contract also does not require clients to confirm in advance to maintain scheduled appointments. Therefore, I cannot understand why this new rule was instated after Jen failed to appear for our session.

Unsatisfied with Jen's no-show and response to the situation, I determined I needed to find a more reliable photographer for my family and requested a full refund, though she declined. I consulted for legal advice because it was my opinion that it is unacceptable and unethical for a photographer's business to accept a significant retainer then fail to appear for a session and not accept responsibility. Ultimately, I decided to report Jen's business to the Better Business Bureau and am writing this review to spare others from the heartbreak and disappointment of seeing your family's excitement fade after being stood up for a long-awaited photo session.

Scheduling a photographer is a significant investment of time, money, and heart. I'm hoping this review protects at least one other family from sharing a disheartened experience with Jen as we have. This was a memorable experience for the wrong reasons.
