Jeremy D. Krones is a wedding professional and life-cycle consultant based out of Grand Lake, Colorado.

JD became ordained in 2017 to officiate the weddings of two couples of friends who wanted modern Jewish weddings in their mountain town, embracing their heritage in a unique place. Since then, he has officiated eight more ceremonies, including two vow renewals (one after 50 years of marriage!).

JD officiates civil unions, vow renewals, and interfaith, religious, and non-religious ceremonies. He can speak Spanish, (not fluently) and can read Hebrew and Yiddish. Every wedding is unique, and JD works hard to for the couple to get what they want in their ceremony without putting any extra stress on the couple. He enjoys working with each couple to ensure their ceremony is the right mixture of tradition and personal wants, making a memory that will last a lifetime.

JD has officiated life-cycle ceremonies in Arizona and Colorado, and is willing to travel. He currently lives in Grand County, Colorado. Any travel that takes him outside of the county will be charged at a rate of $0.70 per mile driven (2025). Any related travel expenses will also be charged, as appropriate. Any other form of travel can be negotiated.

JD works as a nonprofit consultant and specializes in land conservation. He also leads his local Jewish community and sits on boards of a handful of service and community organizations. He enjoys reading a wide variety of literature, writing, playing music and singing, and spending time outdoors with his dog.
