Jazzamuri – Live Music for Elegant Weddings in Sicily

Jazzamuri is a Sicilian music project born from the collaboration of professional musicians with a strong jazz background and a clear artistic vision, going beyond the traditional idea of a wedding or event band.

Before being a musical service, Jazzamuri is an ensemble with a well-defined sonic identity, shaped by original arrangements and an authentic artistic journey.

Sicilian roots are an essential part of the project’s musical language. Alongside jazz, swing and international vintage repertoire, Jazzamuri also reinterprets traditional Sicilian and Italian songs, transforming them into elegant, contemporary and highly personal arrangements. Each piece is carefully tailored to the band’s sound, the instrumental balance and the atmosphere desired for every moment of the event.

The project is led by guitarist Carmelo Venuto, in charge of the artistic direction, and singer Silvia Puglisi, who is the main point of contact for couples and oversees the organisation of each event. This dual leadership ensures both musical coherence and constant dialogue with the clients, allowing every proposal to be truly bespoke.

During live performances, Jazzamuri reveals its most authentic side: jazz as a living language based on listening, interplay and expressive freedom. The interaction between the horns, the rhythmic section, the solos and group dynamics reflects a solid experience developed on important stages and artistic settings.

A distinctive feature of Jazzamuri is the presence of two women on stage: Silvia, a lead singer with strong vocal and interpretative experience, and Doris, a musician combining trumpet and vocals. Doris alternates horn section interplay, backing vocals and solo moments, contributing to a rich and constantly evolving sound.

This artistic path is also reflected in the album Pop Reloaded, available on Spotify, which defines the project’s identity and clearly distinguishes Jazzamuri from most jazz wedding bands.

Line-ups

Jazzamuri offers different musical line-ups, designed to accompany every phase of the event with elegance and stylistic coherence:

• Vintage Roaming Band
  An acoustic street-band-style formation inspired by vintage swing, ideal for moving naturally among guests and creating a refined yet lively atmosphere.

• Elegant Live
  An amplified band setup, perfect for the main moments of the event, with a full, polished sound that can shift seamlessly from background listening to dance-oriented moments.

• Ceremony Ensemble
  A dedicated formation for the ceremony, designed to accompany the most intimate and meaningful moments with discretion and elegance.

Jazzamuri does not offer shouted entertainment, disco lighting or forced animation. The sound is always elegant and never intrusive, yet never boring. When the moment calls for it, the band proposes dance sets inspired by authentic 1950s and 1960s vintage style, creating a joyful and tasteful dance atmosphere.
