I am the owner of Holz Ring Shop, and I do not appreciate a website allowing reviews from customers who they have not had any contact with, and do not understand my circumstances with these orders! I do not think this is fair to allow reviews from customers that were completely out of line, and I do not cater to the type of rudeness from several of these customers that I received! Yes I had a tree fall on my shop and was without any electricity for almost a month due to all of the repairs, and I had a stroke so yes I was very sick!

Unfortunately, he fell ill before our wedding so our order was delayed. I would recommend ordering well before your ceremony date just to be sure, but the quality and individuality cannot be beat.

We ordered our ring with over 5 months to go before the wedding well within the 4 month lead time Ron advertised as necessary in his listing. The amount of weeks he mentioned in his response message after the order came and went with no word from him. I reached out and received an excuse about a tree falling on his workshop, then another about falling ill. I would've been inclined to believe them were it not for the fact that other reviewers from way before our order had received identical excuses, according to their reviews. I had to check in for updates every week, careful not to piss him off so that he didn't just refund and not make the ring at the last minute like he did to another reviewer below. He finally shipped our ring 4 days before our wedding. The ring is well-made, if lighter than expected thanks to the carbon fiber material, but the communication and professionalism were sorely lacking throughout the process. The last thing you need as a bride is further stress on your plate because you might not have a ring on time and it's too late to get anything from a jewelry store because it would have to be ordered or resized. In the end, it all worked out, but better communication and accurate timelines would have made things much better.

Decent ring but horrible communication skills and ridiculous 4 and half month wait with no updates except when asked for. Horrible attitude with a "customer comes last approach". Never again.

I purchased my wedding ring from Ron on Etsy. I was disappointed that the ring was nowhere close to what was pictured. Looked like a plastic ring. The owner was very rude and aggressive in my request to remake the ring or refund the purchase. Ultimately it had to escalate with Etsy customer service after a string of angry rants from Ron. Ultimately, Etsy refunded me. I would never recommend this shop to anyone ESPECIALLY for something as important as a wedding ring.

I can not review the actual ring as I never received it from Ron. My fiancee ordered a ring from Ron in February and had constant communication with Ron. He assured it would be here by May 16th our wedding date. I understand things come up and if he said he couldn't do it then fine. But for 2 months he strung us along saying yes. My fiancee emailed Ron on 4/29 trying to get an update and clarify the information. Ron then canceled our order because he didn't want to deal with her anymore. Now we are stuck here 2 weeks before our wedding with no ring. It is a shame too because all I have been doing is talking about how awesome the ring was going to be and was excited to get it. It seems that Ron does great work from the other reviews I have read but is in a little over his head and doesn't really know how to treat customers. His solution if their is a problem is to cancel the orders.
