Beautiful !

We had our wedding week at the Hilton in la romana ! This resort was amazing and the beach was beautiful! It鈥檚 definitely family friendly but also peaceful for adults as well. Our wedding coordinator Awilda was absolutely amazing and did everything she could to make everything perfect. She helped set up our welcome event bonfire which was amazing. She also did an amazing job with all our request for decor for our wedding. She helped to get us other contacts for other things needed for our stay such as cornhole and a private catamaran tour to saona island. Catherine was amazing with helping us set up our private catamaran tour two days after the wedding . Our wedding was amazing and can鈥檛 wait to go back here !

Amazing venue and team for your destination wedding!

We got married at the Hilton La Romana in April of this year. We worked with Awilda during the course of the planning period and she was absolutely amazing! She was very responsive via email and hopped on a call when requested to go into detail for my questions. We met in person the day after we arrived before the ceremony rehearsal to go over final details and we felt confident that everything was under control and we were in good hands! Awilda helped coordinate the ceremony rehearsal and walk us through what the next day would look like.

We got ready the morning of in the Spa. They originally booked us in too small of a window but were able to have us come in early to accommodate all the requests for hair and makeup and I was thankful they were flexible on that. The ladies in the Spa were so great and everyone was happy with their hair and makeup. Jenny did my bridal look including makeup and hair (w/ extensions) and I absolutely loved how it turned out! They all did an amazing job and had great energy.

We got married in the Garden Gazebo on the family side of the resort it was breathtakingly beautiful. A couple flaws including the wind nearly taking me out and the sound cutting out briefly during vows but apart from that everything was so smooth! We loved that it included a champagne toast after the ceremony for all guests.

Guests moved to the seaside garden for cocktail hour which was not too far from the gazebo so it was easy to navigate and had beautiful views with the buffet and bar overlooking the ocean.

And lastly, we had the reception at the Central Beach location and it was again, STUNNING. They cleared out all the chairs which made for beautiful photo backgrounds. We received so many compliments regarding the food, and Awilda even stopped by to make sure I enjoyed it as I still had some food on my plate but I was just too excited to eat. The steak and chicken were big hits and the desert table was so cute.

During our first dance, cold fireworks were supposed to go off but malfunctioned which was fine because after the father/daughter and mother/son dances they called us back on and started the song during the ramp up and set them off. It was an even more perfect moment than if it had gone off the first time. We thought it was the coolest thing and were just so happy we didn't mind the hiccup.

The rest of the dance was a blast and the servers made sure all of our guests were taken care of and had drinks when needed. All of our guests were so impressed with the level of service across the entire day.

Outside the wedding, the resort is beautiful and there is plenty of stuff to do. We had multiple guests compliment the resort itself (many of which have been to multiple all-inclusives).

We seriously cannot thank Awilda enough for helping coordinate the most amazing day. We highly recommend booking your special day here.
