Highland Farms

Once upon a quiet mountain morning, in the arms of the Mt. Hood forest, there lies a hidden glen where love grows wild. Highland Farms is a private five acre wedding estate in Brightwood, Oregon, about an hour from Portland, where ancient Cedars, a singing stream and our Scottish Highland Coos bear witness to your vows, and where up to 20 of your favorite people can sleep on the property so the celebration never has to end.

A Ceremony Beside Skye's Fairy Pool
Your vows unfold where a gentle waterfall spills into a still pond and a hand laid stone patio waits beneath nature's own cathedral. Sunlight drips through the leaves like golden honey, and the Highland Coos, silent sentinels with sweeping horns and woolly manes, graze nearby as honored guests.

Dinner And Dancing In The Grove
When twilight falls, the celebration moves into the Grove, an enchanted dining hall shaped by trees and stream, where candlelight flickers beneath the canopy and laughter drifts through the branches. Up to 125 guests gather here, with Mt. Hood keeping gentle watch.

A Night On The Farm
When the stars come out, your people retreat to The William Wallace Lodge, The Bonnie Lass Cottage and The Camp, a vintage Airstream and canvas tents tucked beneath the trees. Mornings begin slowly, with coffee in the forest and the Nordic spa waiting.

Every Wedding Includes
12 hours on the property, with your ceremony at Skye's Fairy Pool and reception in the Grove for up to 125 guests. Rentals are included: tables, chairs, a live edge barrel bar, luxury portable restrooms, speakers, microphones and heaters. Your caterer has the lodge kitchen, and our open vendor policy carries no outside caterer fee. A Highland Farms team of five sets the property, parks cars and turns the ceremony into dinner during cocktail hour. Your coordinator runs your wedding, we run the farm. One Night and Two Nights packages add lodging for up to 20 guests.

Weddings We Host
Elopements for up to 10 guests, Monday through Wednesday. Weekday celebrations, Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday weekends, with the rehearsal night, the wedding night, or both. Two night stays where your whole wedding party wakes up on the farm.

Good To Know
Bar service is exclusive to Highland Farms, from $35 to $70 per guest. A farm to table dinner is available at $175 per guest, with beef and lamb raised on the Highland Reserve, our hundred free range acres just across the river. Every couple brings their own day of coordinator or planner. Our season runs June through October, with select spring dates.
