Hedge Farm was first established in the 1840s. Originally the farm was over 2,000 acres but today, there are 175 acres that remain. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic Farm Landscape. The extensive planting of Bois d’ arch hedgerows is what gives Hedge Farm its name.

From the beginning, Hedge Farm was passed down from generation to generation within the same family.
In May of 2016, Steve and Layne Popernik (who may be related to the original owners) purchased the property to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning land, hosting events, and entertaining guests. Steve grew up in Oxford, MS while Layne grew up in Corinth, MS. They both enjoyed spending time on the farms of family and close neighbors. So naturally after hearing that Hedge Farm was for sale, Steve and Layne could not hold back on their dream home!

The property at Hedge Farm, is an elegant southern venue, for most any type of event, including; wedding ceremonies & receptions, awards banquets, anniversaries, birthdays, retirement & holiday parties, celebrations of life, engagement parties, showers, reunions, corporate functions, and more. You imagine it, we make it happen.
What sets us apart from all the other venues? Simply said, authenticity, uniqueness, and honesty in design. Others may try to duplicate the sense of timelessness and southern elegance that exists here, but that is almost impossible! Hedge Farm allows you the flexibility to customize your special day exactly how you envision it with the convenience you deserve. We now have outdoor and indoor options (2019) all in one venue so you do not have to stress about rain or inclement weather! Within the grounds, you have several options to choose from for your ceremony, reception and party- the wedding tree, the garden/ courtyards, the pavilion, and chapel!
Hedge Farm has created and hosted both intimate gatherings and large celebrations. With a variety of size and style “spaces” to choose from, the Farm can host events for as few as 25 and for as many as 250.

“DIY” Package- This package is $5,500.00 for up to 250 guests.

"HF works” Package- This package is $7,000.00 for up to 250 guests.

"Full Service” Package- If you are interested in Full service pricing, we can give you a price based on your guest headcount.
