I wasn’t always a makeup artist.

In fact, I graduated college with a B.A. in communications and business. Makeup and skincare were something that always captured me, but never seemed like a realistic, professional venture. After meeting my husband, I took a step back from my corporate job and reevaluated what I wanted to do. I missed having a creative avenue to funnel my energy and spirit into. So, after some major personal motivation (and lots of pep talks in the mirror!), I left my advertising job and signed up for esthetician school.

I graduated from the Paul Mitchell Academy and the International Dermal Institute in 2012 and continued my artistry training and apprenticeship before launching my own freelance business. Since then, my professional work has taken me all across the country, working with incredible brides, photographers, national television networks and magazines, including Showtime, Cosmopolitan, Carats and Cake, Adorn Magazine and The Bridal Theory.

My style is rather relaxed and I prefer to work on-site in order to provide my clients with a comfortable and pampered experience. I take the time to personally consult each one in order to create a look that personal and unique to them. My clients are more than a business transaction to me - they give me the opportunity to share with them something I truly love and in return, hope they feel that energy and delight when they sit in my chair.

Every year my business continues to grow, and as an artist, I am always eager to learn something new. I never take for granted each day that I get to do something that fulfills me and it never feels like work. As a mother to two little girls, I am proud of this little enterprise I have created and hope they learn from my experience that pursuing what brings you joy is always worth it.
