Based in Milford, New Hampshire, Hampshire Hills Athletic Club offers its location as a unique wedding venue for couples. This private location is surrounded by thick forestry, providing both a feeling of privacy and a picturesque backdrop for your ceremony and reception. The onsite team will be ready to assist you throughout your planning process, from your decor to your catering, to ensure an unforgettable night.

Facilities and Capacity

First established as a family-friendly destination, Hampshire Hills Athletic Club has an array of sports facilities, including tennis courts, swimming pools, and a climbing wall. The team now welcomes soon-to-be-weds to host their romantic celebrations on their multiple acres of land. Their main indoor venue, The Event Center, offers enough space for gatherings of up to 200 guests. The banquet hall acts as a blank canvas, with a neutral color scheme and versatile floor plan for you to create your dream design. Inside features a large bar area for you and your guests to enjoy your favorite beverages and cocktails during your day. Three spacious decks are also present for ceremonies or cocktail hours under the sun. Couples that prefer to exchange their vows among nature will have emerald green, manicured lawns to use, with lush trees as an idyllic background. In addition, their full-service salon offers various services for couples and their wedding parties, from hair and makeup to relaxing massages. Parking is available onsite, with wheelchair accessibility to ensure that all guests arrive at the venue safely.

Services Offered

The onsite team of wedding coordinators will be ready to make a couple’s nuptial vision into a reality. They will handle set-up and teardown at their venue, while you spend time with your friends and family. Tables, chairs, linens, and tableware will be provided, along with various decor pieces to complete your design. From your rehearsal dinner to your reception desserts, the in-house catering team will customize your menu to best suit your preferences. In addition to the big day, Hampshire Hills Athletic Club can also host prenuptial events, including engagement parties and wedding showers.

June 2021 Wedding

Our wedding at the Event Center at Hampshire Hills was amazing! Lindsay was so awesome to work with during the whole process. She was very responsive and made sure that all of our little details were just how we envisioned them. The ceremony was beautiful and we loved the reception room. I will add that the staff that we were given on the actual night of our wedding could have been better. Eileen was not up to the standard of professionalism and care that Lindsay had provided us. Also just make sure that you let the staff know what you want to do with the remaining desserts because our desserts were taken and thrown away at the end of the night when we would have wanted to bring them home. After discussing that with Lindsay she was extremely apologetic and she made it right by removing any remaining fees that we owed! Other than that our day/night was perfect and I highly recommend The Event Center at Hampshire Hills for your wedding!

Amazing Day

Our day was amazing and we have the team at Hampshire Hills to thank for it. From Day 1 of figure out which vendor to choose, up to the day of the wedding, Lindsay the event coordinator was there to answer any questions I had, provide suggestions, and help figure out the little details. The day of the wedding our wedding coordinator for the day was very easy to work with. She continued to check in to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to her our day ran smoothly. The vendor itself was amazing, the bridal party was able to get ready in the women's spa, the men were able to get ready in a separate room. We had our wedding outside, then our cocktail hour on the three layer deck and patio area, and our reception inside. I loved that each part of the wedding was held in different spots through our the venue. The food was cooked to perfection, moist and very very tasty. The venue was helpful in finding a dish on their menu for my vegan guests as well.

A wedding Venue like No other.

If looking for a place to hold your wedding or any other function, LOOK NO MORE. The Event Center at Hampshire Hills got what you want. The scenery is so beautiful! The owner trusts his staff who are completely responsible and competent. Their kindness made us feel at home. The Event Sales Coordinator, Lindsay Perrin made our wedding plan process very easy. Her experience is unquestionable. Talk about the chef and his staff including Eileen. Their food and services left us feeling as though we paid less than we were supposed to. We’ll definitely hold another function there sometimes soon!

Phenomenal

They were extremely accommodating with everything that we needed and open to any and all ideas that we gave them. Whatever they were able to do in order to assist us with our vision, they were more than happy to do for us and they were very flexible the day of when timing went off schedule. The food was phenomenal and we got a lot of positive feedback on that, the event space was beautiful and everything that we wanted was taken care of and more

Lisa at Hampshire Hills is great to work with. She clearly has had the opportunity to work with many brides and it shows in her suggestions and advice. I had an idea of the kind of lighting I wanted in the room and she was able to pull it together so beautifully. Everyone kept saying that my vision and hard work really showed at the reception. I couldn't have done it without Lisa at Hampshire Hills.
