Haleema was the best to work with for our wedding, especially during a pandemic. She came all the way out to SC when our location had to change due to the virus. Didn't even flinch. Anytime I was unsure of anything, or wanted a changed, her motto was "Whatever you want!". Very laid back. Beautiful wedding pictures, I got some the next day too. Highly recommend. I will be using her for all my photography needs.

I truly enjoyed having Haleema as our wedding photographer, I’m truly grateful that she was able to work with our budget and provided quality work. I’m horrible when it comes to posing for photos so I appreciated her directing all of us :) I loved the photos.

Haleema was a DREAM to work with. She arrived to our location early, maintained professional communication, and was an overall pleasure to have as our photographer. She helped us pose when we needed it and made sure we got every shot that we wanted. She is beyond talented and captured the perfect moments that show the love my fiancé and I have for one another. I am in love with the pictures we received (very quickly, I'll add) and look forward to hiring her for any professional pictures we may need in the future!

Haleema was fantastic. She not only jumped in last minute, but helped choose the precise location for a surprise engagement and had great ideas for poses after. Would 100% recommend her to anyone I know!

My shoot with Haleema was SO pleasant. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. I’m not used to taking pictures and she made the shoot super easy. She was very warm and patient, so at no point did I feel self conscious. She listened to every idea I had, and captured exactly what I envisioned. I’m forever pleased with the outcome and will never hesitate to recommend her to friends and family!

I would strongly caution anyone from booking with Haleema Manzur. My experience was one of the most stressful, unprofessional, and frankly shocking vendor interactions I’ve ever had.

Haleema informed us one week before our wedding that she would not be attending and would be sending a “replacement photographer.” She later told us she had known for weeks that she wouldn’t be able to photograph our November 1st wedding due to health issues, yet waited until seven days beforehand to notify us.

Even more concerning: her “confirmation” with the replacement photographer was done entirely through Instagram DMs. She refused for days to give us the replacement’s direct contact information, insisting all communication go through her. It took repeated requests just to get an email address.

Our wedding was two hours from Atlanta, and we had no idea if this replacement was actually coming because she didn’t respond to our message until the day before the wedding — four days after we reached out. Up until that point, nothing was confirmed.

When my wedding planner responded to Haleema’s initial email, she told her how upset I was about the situation. Haleema’s reply was unbelievably dismissive. She said she “had no idea I would be upset because she had not communicated with me in a long time” and “assumed I was not personally attached to her.” To say that this level of disregard for a client’s wedding is unprofessional is an understatement.

Given the lack of communication, the last-minute notice, and the inability to confirm a real replacement, we hired another photographer. Haleema did not attend, did not photograph, and did not provide any services for our wedding. We requested only our final payment back — not even a full refund. She refused.

Instead, she offered to still send the replacement photographer so we could have “two photographers,” despite her own contract containing a strict SOLE PHOTOGRAPHER clause requiring that she be the exclusive photographer at the event. If she insists on that clause, why would she suddenly encourage us to break it?

The entire experience felt chaotic, careless, and deeply unprofessional. Communication was sporadic or nonexistent, crucial information was withheld, and her responses showed little understanding of the stress she caused.

For a once-in-a-lifetime event, couples deserve reliability, professionalism, and empathy. Unfortunately, none of that was present in our experience.
