We had our wedding reception at this beautiful hotel. We booked the gorgeous VIP suite which had so much space for my bridesmaids and me to get our hair and makeup done the morning of the wedding. The majority of the guest were from out of state and stayed here. We were able to spend so much more time with them during the crazy busy weekend. The staff were amazing and made us feel at home.

Gave us the banquet room until midnight and a half price honeymoon suite. Very beautiful place, made for some gorgeous pictures!

Gulf Hills was nothing short of amazing. They are a fairly well-hidden, historic boutique hotel. Some folks may call it a little shabby, but it was perfect for our vintage-themed wedding. The rooms are furnished with antiques/vintage furniture, and the Elvis suite and Honeymoon suite are WELL worth the money for getting ready, photos, etc. They give a handsome discount on those for the bride and groom, as well as a free comp room, and discounts for your attendees and party. Our pastor did not show, and Mrs. Bartles stayed cool and offered to marry us, and it was PERFECT. Better than we could have ever planned. Her husband also ran to the rescue when the best man's leather dress shoes EXPLODED. He swooped in and let him borrow a pair, without a second thought. All before the ceremony even started! I HIGHLY recommend this team if you like the seluded, vintage vibe.

(They give HUGE discounts for the wedding couple, and decent discounts on rooms for anyone attending the wedding.) Our pastor did not show up, and Mrs. Bartles married us without a second thought and it was BEAUTIFUL and more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Her husband also ran to the rescue when the best man's leather dress shoes exploded right before the ceremony. Best group of people, hands down.
