Gordon Jewelers

Gordon Jewelers is an independent, family-owned jewelry store at 406 Main Street in downtown Boonville, Missouri, where couples find wedding rings for both partners. Edward and Maxine Gordon opened the store in Kansas City in 1946 and moved it to Boonville in 1965. Dale and Roz carried it on, and the third generation runs it today. Eighty years later, the same family is still helping couples pick out their rings.

Couples can try wedding bands on side by side, matching or not. The cases hold classic bands in yellow, white and two-tone gold, diamond bands, eternity bands and curved bands shaped to sit snug against an engagement ring. Alternative metal bands in tungsten, Serinium and black ceramic come with inlays like bourbon wood, antler, turquoise and dinosaur bone. Couples still shopping for an engagement ring can choose one from the case, design one with a natural or lab-grown diamond in the Gordon Jewelers Studio, or start a custom piece. Family rings can be redesigned into something new.

The store has its own jeweler and watchmaker. Ring sizing, engraving, repairs and appraisals are all available, and Affirm financing is offered. Trying on rings is free. The store is about 30 minutes from Columbia and an easy drive from Jefferson City, Sedalia and Marshall.
