Gemini and the Bear is such a wonderful team to work with! So fun and talented. They really listened to what we wanted and captured our wedding exactly as we dreamed. They were also super flexible and accommodating of our unconventional event. We had so much fun hanging out with them, and we're so grateful for the amazing photos we have from them to remember and share our wedding.

Gemini and the Bear are the best! When we first met with photographers, I really wasn't sure what direction we wanted to go in. I view myself as terribly unphotogenic and was most nervous about finding something to jive with. Jenevieve was the absolute coolest and made me feel so comfortable from the start. On the big day, it seriously felt like we had known Jenevieve and Ryan for years. They were consummate professionals but also really fun to work with. They were very accommodating of our schedule being hopelessly behind, finding ways to adapt and ensure we got as many photos as possible within a tight timeline. Ultimately I think the pictures speak for themselves. We got the obligatory posed stuff, which came out better than I expected, along with some intimate portraits and killer party shots. We are very grateful for such beautiful photos to help us remember the best day of our lives. Additional shout out to sticking with us amidst multiple COVID reschedules. We booked them all the way back in 12/2019 for a 10/2020 wedding that didn't actually happen until 10/2021. Thank you, G&TB! 

These two are both incredible and make a perfect team. I HIGHLY recommend Ryan and Jenevieve. They made us feel so comfortable right from the beginning. We had a great couple of hours, they are super friendly and easy to get along with. Jenevieve even helped me choose which outfit I should wear! They both definitely went above and beyond what we expected. The photos turned out amazing and we absolutely cannot wait to work with them four our wedding coming up later in the year.

I personally have known these wonderful humans before our wedding but Ryan and Jenevive made our special day so much more magical than I could have ever imagined! We were looking for a photographer who is a bit quirky and fun, as we are not a super traditional couple. As I started to research my options, Gemini + The Bear immediately stood out. I loved the way that Jenevieve and Ryan had beautiful, high-quality images and were great at both incorporating Atlanta landmarks and pets in their photography, two factors that were very important. They had also previously shot weddings and engagement pics at the venue we selected for our pictures. Even though we were both concerned about a photo shoot being stuffy and posed, Jenevieve and Ryan made the day a lot of fun and really captured the look and mood we were envisioning. We are excited to use them again for our eventual wedding!

Jen and Ryan are SO kind and responsive. Jen was extremely receptive to what I wanted and didn't want and worked with my coordinator to make sure we had enough time before and after sunset for photos. They were extremely flexibly with travel out of state, and a joy to be around -- they hung out with us for awhile after the wedding was over and charmed everyone. We're excited to see them again at our friend's wedding in a few months, and are absolutely in love with the photos we've already seen.

When we set out to choose a photographer we knew this would be one of the more difficult selections for vendors. These are the people who will share some of your most intimate moments from your special day and there is a lot of ways that a bad photographer could mess that up. But, thanks to a fortuitous recommendation, we directed to the website of Gemini and the Bear and we were impressed. We messaged them and shortly after we were at the porter in Five Points to meet Jenevieve and Ryan. From the very start we felt at ease with both of them and we knew that we had met the people meant to capture our wedding. They are two of the most sincere, friendliest and dedicated people we have ever come across and they made it very apparent they cared about not only photographing our wedding but getting to know us. There were numerous ways that they went about making sure everything was executed perfectly including meeting up with us twice prior to the wedding to scope out locations for shoots, practicing natural poses and timing the whole venture out. But, just as important we developed a friendship with them over the months of planning up to the big day. And it is this friendship(that they clearly value to foster with their clients) that made for the exceptional experience and we believe what led to the amazing photos they produced.
