Gabby Cakes is the best cake I have ever tasted. It was so moist and tasty it just melted in my mouth. My cake was beautiful and just what I asked for. Melanie really realized my vision that I discribed to her. Her cake was soo good I have ordered more items from her since when I was in Savannah. I feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful baker.

My wedding cake (& groom's cake) from Gabby Cakes was wonderful! Melanie was great about taking my initial vision and making it even better! She was always very willing to work with any changes I made, even up to the last moment. We had a 3 tier cake, and each tier was a different flavor--all were incredibly yummy! She does a great job & I would recommend anyone getting married in Savannah to check her out!

Melanie, thank you so much for such a beautiful heart shaped wedding cake. The cake was beautiful and very good. My guest loved the cake one because it was a 3 tier heart shaped cake secondly, the flavor was vanilla almond and it was very good. My husband loved his German chocolate cake as did the guest.
Melanie is such a pleasure to work with, she knows what she is doing and I truly loved the samples. In additions to our cakes we had red velvet cake shots and those were a hit with our guest as well.

Melanie has very reasonable prices and the cake was just absolutely beautiful, I would recommend Gabby Cakes to other brides in the Savannah, South Carolina and Georgia areas you will not be disappointed.

Melanie (Owner of Gabby Cakes) made our wedding complete by being so accommodating! She is a perfectionist and very talented with everything she does from the shower/wedding cakes down to the favors. I have never tasted cakes so flavorful. She will make your wedding cake dreams come true! I have and will continue to use her for many events to come. She is so creative and is a pleasure to work with!!

I had already tasted Melanie Polote's (owner of Gabby Cakes) cupcakes even before my daughter's engagement to be married so it was an easy choice to select her to do the wedding cake. She does lovely creations and her final product is as tasty as it is beautiful! My daughter's cake was a lemon cake with buttercream frosting and lemon curd in between the layers. It was so good that I had guests tell me afterwards that they went back for second helpings. I found Melanie to be delightful to work with and her price reasonable, and I highly recommend using her for any cake or bakery needs. And, did I mention that her lime cupcakes are to die for?!!!
