Wendy was the sweetest hair and makeup artist, she came highly recommended by my photographer! We met at a studio in Denver, I learned though she has an in-home studio if needed! Wendy took my thoughts and ideas into consideration and made me feel beautiful on my wedding day! My fine hair’s curls held up even in the windy conditions at Brainard Lake. I would highly recommend her to any future brides!

I was so impressed with First Look Events. I first contacted Brynn right after I got engaged and she was wonderful over the phone. I talked to several other wedding planners and Brynn felt like the most professional, experienced, lovely to work with, and the best fit for me. Additionally, Brynn's prices were lower than some of the other vendors but her quality even over the first phone call was so much stronger. Brynn designed and helped with the early planning of my wedding. Brynn's designs were thoughtful, stunning, and perfectly me and my now husband. I really respect her creative genius as she really was able to design my dream wedding! I don't have a great design sense, so I was so impressed with how she was able to take my wants, desires, and life experiences and turn it into something beautiful. Brynn was very responsive to emails and an absolute joy to work with. Brynn helped us stay within budget and was always very honest about how we could cut costs or get a better deal. All of the vendors recommended by Brynn were fantastic to work with and I really appreciated Brynn's honesty for assistance with the selection process. Lindsay then helped with our month-of and day-of planning. Lindsay was so on-top of everything and ensured my day went wonderfully. She is incredibly detail-oriented and made sure that all of our ducks were in a row for our perfect day. Lindsay also was very responsive over email and wonderful to work with. I consider Brynn and Lindsay dear friends of mine now and I am so grateful for them. My mom also adores Brynn and Lindsay and speaks very highly of them. Our wedding went incredibly smoothly and I felt so secure leaving my full trust in Brynn and Lindsay's hands. I seriously would recommend First Look to anyone. Reasonably priced, highly professional, incredibly high quality work, and wonderful women. 10/10!

Wendy did an amazing job with my hair and makeup and I would highly recommend. She took her time and made sure I was 100% happy with my look. The makeup felt weightless and it looked great all night, even with lots of tears.

Freiya Beauty was incredibly organized and helpful in getting me looking my best on my big day. I booked them last minute and didn’t have the time to do a trial but it still came out great. I first had a consultation with Wendy a few days before the wedding where I shared my vision and we narrowed down my style as “picture-ready, soft glam”. I wanted glowy, natural, but still looking dressed up and they nailed it. Yurley showed up on time and ready to work. I was open to different eyeshadow and lip shades and she was very helpful in selecting colors that matched my skin tone and complimented my flowers. She was professional and asked me if was happy with the outcome several times. She did a lovely job on my flower girls hair too! She was also very kind to my cat even though he was curious with the commotion and was getting near her equipment. Would highly recommend!

We hired Wendy as a referral. We had her do my makeup (bride) my sister and my mom all on my wedding day. We didn’t do any trials and when she finished hair and makeup let me tell you I don’t think me and my sister and mom have ever looked so beautiful. I was kind-of scared because without doing a trial you don’t know what to expect but she was seriously amazing and made me look more than what I expected for my wedding day. Book her with no doubts! Weddings, party’s, gatherings. She’ll do amazing ☺️
