Justin and Liz are absolutely the best investment my wife and I made for our wedding! They were so easy to work with, and incredibly professional. We really appreciated how smoothly and perfectly they worked with the rest of our wedding vendors while also troubleshooting any problems they ran into without informing us of them! Everyone will tell you that you wont’ remember a thing from your wedding because its so chaotic, and I can testify that this is an absolutely true statement, I know that videography is often considered a splurge wedding expense, but we are so thankful that we spent the extra money to book Justin and Liz. We still rewatch the video they made for us on a regular basis.

My wife and I are absolutely not the type that usually enjoy being filmed, or photographed, we often feel it to be so forced and artificial that we just feel its so awkward, but it was never like that with Justin and Liz, they did an amazing job of capturing our wedding in a way that felt natural, while still capturing some really special and beautiful moments!

Before booking Forcier, my wife and I looked at literally dozens of other videographers, and our biggest gripe with 99% of them was that basically you realize every videographer has a standard formula for wedding videos.
Scene 1 - Open with a wide sweeping drone shot or wide angle shot of a venue.
Scene 2 - Close-up detail shots. Maybe the wedding programs, definitely some shoes, maybe some table settings flowers, and jewelry. Definitely definitely shot of the wedding dress hanging in front of a sunlit window (natural light amirite?)
Scene 3 - Wedding party getting ready. Probably a shot of a groomsmen or parent fake adjusting the grooms clip-on bowtie.
Scene 4 - Bride reveals herself in wedding dress to her bridal party and/or parents, gasps ensue

You get the picture. Every wedding video is essentially the same, but the thing that stood our with Forcier is that my wife and I came away from each video feeling as though we had learned a little something about that couple, we had gotten a sort of feel for what they were like, and what their wedding was like. We even joked with each other about which other couples we would like to be friends with, and which we likely would not get along with. And we loved that each film had the signature beautiful cinematic shots of the Forciers, while still being special and unique to each couple.

If you’ve been behind the scenes of enough weddings you know that some videographers can be awkward and pushy. They can be eager to capture a particular kind of shot, maybe for their portfolio, maybe because they think it will look cool, but they will stop an entire dance floor or wedding recession in order to pose people and stage shots, but the fact that Justin and Liz were able to capture all these incredible and beautiful shots without posing them is a testament to their experience, and skill. We were honestly so surprised by how many shots they managed to capture, because we never even noticed that they had been in the room with us at times!

Oh, and did we mention that Justin and Liz managed to do all of that while perfectly blending in with the background while Liz was like seven months pregnant!? I mean you want to talk about professionalism? Then you should start talking about Forcier.

So if you’re looking for a generic wedding video with a videographer who will standout like a sore thumb at your wedding, or if you’re looking for a videographer with no desire to tell your story, or a videographer who’s unprofessional, and unfriendly, and difficult to work with. Look somewhere else, don’t use Forcier. But if you’re searching for someone to capture memories for you in a way that’s beautiful and natural, who’s also just such a joy both personally and professionally to work with. Definitely book Forcier, you will NOT regret it. (Unless you hate quality, value, and having the best wedding video, then you’ll definitely regret it).

Liz & Justin are not only wildly talented and generous with their time, but they are also all around good eggs. We had our 10 year anniversary vow renewal ceremony at Starved Rock and Forcier films turned us into ROCK STARS! I can not imagine our wedding weekend without Forcier Films. From the moment I decided that I wanted to have a videographer to the moment I spoke to Liz on the phone I knew that Forcier Films was the best fit for us.

Not only were Liz and Justin wonderful people to have conversations with but they also did everything in their power to make my guest and us as a couple comfortable. We also wanted our media team to document our rehearsal dinner where I was doing a first look with some of the youth that I work with within the community.
