The wedding cake was not a big deal for us. We aren't big cake eaters and thought that it was just so ridiculous to spend so much money on a cake that we weren't excited about! Then I saw Lavender's work! I loved the idea of CAKE BALLS! That way we could have as many flavors of cake as we wanted and everyone could have something they liked! (and yes, we still did get a small two tier cake for tradition of cutting the wedding cake!) We never imagined the cake balls being such a hit! Our guests absolutely loved them! They tasted amazing and were so moist and beautiful!! I still have people come up to me and ask me where my cake balls were from! We have ordered multiple times from Lavender ever since and we are never disappointed with her work! She is affordable, flexible, and reliable!

I never had any doubt that my cake would be spectacular. But it was. So many people complimented on how absolutely breathtaking it was. And it was exactly what I'd imagined and more. Plus, the flavors of the cake were better than any I've had in my life. So, pretty + actually tasted good = slam dunk.

We we're thoroughly impressed from the original consult to the final result! The flavors, attention to detail && the flexibility && communication with the staff was always impeccable! I have already recommended this business to many, many people && will continue to do so! I wouldn't buy cake/sweets from any other place!!

We were extremely happy with the Birthday cake that Flour Child made for us! We asked for a 2-tier with a lot of fondant work and it was better than we could have expected - and tasted great too! The cake was the talk of the party!

Our cake was fantastic (so I hear. I only got the one bite and forgot to go back for more! haha). Our guests continue to ask where we got the cake. It was also BEAUTIFUL. :) We absolutely loved having Flower Child Bakery make our cake (We had marble, strawberry and vanilla cakes with a delicious icing).

Last minute (about 2 days before our big day) they said they were willing to deliver the cake for us (as we waited around too long-thinking my mom/dad could bring it when they felt that was too stressful.)

We spent about $400 on the 100 serving cake and delivery. It was money well spent.
