I found Apryl through recommendation of friends which is the way I like to hire vendors. This is also why I am excited to write this review for her. From the moment I spoke with Apryl, to the last email I received that our pictures were ready, she gave a 100% and made us feel so comfortable. She was professional, patient, enthusiastic, open-minded and most of all, AMAZING. Her excitement for every photo opportunity was adorable and also contagious. I trusted her vision from the very beginning and the end result exceeded our expectations BY FAR. I believe that her talent not only lies in still photos, but mostly in the candid shots. Capturing pictures that we sometimes forget because we’re so caught up moment, are the best surprise from her when she reveals the final photos. I will continue to use First of Apryl Photography in ALL of our life’s most special moments because I have no doubt that she will again make our wants and needs her main focus and assure we'll relive our most beautiful and special occasions through her gorgeous work.

Apryl was such a delight to work with! My husband and I are not big photo-takers, and Apryl did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and capturing moments that felt authentic and not cheesy or overly-posed.

She brought an upbeat, friendly, and genuinely lovely presence to our day. She made us and our guests feel at ease, and I had many people come up to me to say how wonderful she was.

The next-day preview was a delightful addition to Apryl's services. Being able to look at some of Apryl's gorgeous work the morning after our wedding was a huge treat.

I'm a guy with little to no creativity. After just speaking to Apryl about a surprise proposal, I knew I was in good hands. She was attentive, asked really good questions and was available whenever I needed her. She had my proposal planned and prepped within 2 days. She also took the time out to swing by my work to create a video for my fiance to watch post proposal. All in all this was as elevated of an experience that I could ask for. She said 'yes' and so much of this experience came from April's creative direction. We plan on hiring her for all special events we have upcoming. Thank you Apryl!

First of Apryl is an amazing photography company! My fiance hired Apryl to do a photoshoot of us and it turned into our engagement and surprise engagement party. She took beautiful pictures with our friends and family celebrating. She made me feel so comfortable and took both staged and candid shots of everyone. I highly recommend using Apryl. When we first hired Apryl things seemed seemingly fine, but that was unfortunately before it came down to her providing us with our photos and video footage. We had hoped for a better and agreeable outcome with her, but that was clearly not what she was interested in. Your photo and video is supposed to bring back happy and beautiful moments of your wedding, but through our terrible experience with Apryl, she has now left such an awful taste when we think of working with her and the product she provided us with. We found her to be untrustworthy, unreliable, and unfortunately an amateur producer when it came to the video highlight reel she gave us. Through this experience she caused my wife and I so much anxiety and discontent that was still ultimately left unresolved.

We hired her as a still+video photographer for our wedding in April 2022. After the wedding, she was repeatedly late to meeting delivery deadlines of the photos and wedding video. Even though we reached out to her on multiple occasions, it would take her weeks to respond even after three attempts to contact her after multiple missed deadlines she herself had set. During one point she had unforeseen personal circumstances, so we of course were patient through that, but a few weeks turned into a few months turned into 8 months before we finally received all the material we paid for. Throughout this time, she continuously set new deadlines that she, again, did not meet. When we finally received the photos, we were unhappy with the quality but since that's subjective, I won't dwell on it. What I do want to highlight to warn other couples, is that the wedding reel she sent was clearly poorly made. She had months and months to work on it and it seemed as if it was done carelessly and rushed through. The sound and video clips did not match up with each other, sounds could not even be heard it parts, the reel was filled with sporadic cuts from different moments of the wedding without any clear direction or thought being put into it. Many of the key shots, like the actual ceremony, were shot from bad angles where our faces were hidden. The video was also 25% shorter than we agreed upon, and it took Apryl months to address our edits (This was already 6 months after the wedding day, when the contract we signed said it would be delivered within 12 weeks). The new video she sent still had amateur issues like random dark screens, an error message halfway through, and issues with the sound/video not matching. We tried to reconcile these issues, but she refused so we asked her to get the raw footage so we can pay someone else to fix all of her mistakes. She wanted $500 and wouldn't waive it despite all of our flexibility in the 8 months it took her to send us the material and the unprofessional video she provided. Something I do not believe she should advertise services AT ALL for.

We feel so frustrated to be treated in this way especially when we felt we had built trust and a good relationship with her, clearly that was all a show. We feel an extreme sense of urgency to post this review so other couples do not get dragged through this same experience with her. Please save your time and money. WE URGE ALL COUPLES NOT TO BOOK HER!!
