If you want to have the BEST Annapolitan wedding reception, Federal House is THE place.

Our wedding at Federal House was everything we wanted and more. Jeremy, Vicki, and the entire staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. They never made us feel as though we were bothering them when we reached out with questions or for help. It seemed as though they cared about our wedding just as much as we did. They ensured that the night ran SO smoothly, and our vision came to life (even better than expected). The downtown location was perfect, the food was phenomenal, and the planning process was easy. They accommodated every request. It was a unique wedding reception that many of our guests said was "the best ever."

During cocktail hour, the bridal party had the upstairs room to themselves to decompress and celebrate before they were announced coming down the stairs! :) The speeches and toasts were made from the stairs--so fun! The dance floor was exactly how we wanted it-full! You can't beat the architecture, the DJ was able to use their lights (which made it SO fun), and their creative/extremely talented chalkboard person made us the most amazing, personal sign. They let us choose our own vendors and decorate exactly how we wanted to. We surprised our guests by making an appearance from a secret balcony door during dancing which was hilarious, so fun, and not our idea (which made it even better). They provided all linens/utensils, plates, glasses, etc.

We could go on and on about how this truly was the best venue. We will always look bag on our wedding night with HUGE smiles thanks to Federal House. We cannot recommend them enough.

Utilized this for a rehearsal dinner venue. Had the upstairs to ourselves, but we were able to join the crowd downstairs for music and dancing. Food was wonderful. Atmosphere was great. We have been to the Federal House many times, which made it an easy choice for us. Quality and service was great. Whether a formal gathering or just meeting friends for supper this is a great place!

The Federal House was top to bottom perfect. The upstairs space was perfect for our low-key rehearsal dinner. The staff was great and very responsive, even when dealing with 50 people ranging in age from 10 to 93...although we did have to hustle out at the end of the evening.

We were their first wedding so I can cut them some slack but I just wish they told us ahead of time so we could have worked with them more closely. The main issue was their even coordinator was useless. She didn’t do anything we asked or relay information to the staff. It took her over a month to even get the invoice to us and she was avoiding our calls and e-mail during that time. The manager and bar/waiter were amazing! They bent over backwards to try to fix any issue that arose. They need to work on their coordination and communication when it comes to weddings but they were very hospitable and understanding during the processes. We had amazing food, service, and wedding for an even better price. Just hope they hire a new coordinator.
