I'm American and my husband is Jamaican so we decided to get married in Jamaica since it's easier for my family to travel there. I got married at a Villa and planned for a small wedding so I thought it should be easy to do it all ourselves and wanted to keep our budget small.

I contacted Thurston with Eyes of Jamaica, along with several other photographers. His prices were more affordable for us. He responded very quickly to my request for information and after I chose him as my photographer, continued to be super responsive and professional, up to and including referring me to other vendors.

The price in no way reflected his quality of service or professionalism at the wedding. He was amazing! I would refer him to everyone for any special event. We are so pleased.

We hired Thurston to complete our wedding video a year ago. His communication was great leading up to the event and throughout the big day! He made everyone feel comfortable and was a great vendor. I had specific expectations as I communicated that I wanted an hour long video. The contract stated that we would get a 45-1 hour long video. He promised the video at a certain date and did not deliver until 2 weeks later. He delivered a 15 minute video that had horrible music transitions. Of course--I emailed him right away stating that the video was not what was promised in the contract--not only was it too short but the music was terrible and tacky. He got defensive and stated that "he is not a DJ" and apologized and said that he would get back to work on the longer video immediately. It took about another month and we finally received the 45 minute long video. He spelled my husbands name wrong in the beginning of the video--another mistake and redelivered. Although the video was 45 minutes long he would do still shots and drone shots that were 2-3 minutes long--he was recording from 10am-11 pm. So much footage could have been used! He took shortcuts and still delivered bad music transitions and placed songs where they weren't to be placed (he emailed me previously to ask what songs should be used and where they should be throughout the video). He is a great videographer but I personally think that he didn't have enough experience to deliver an hour long clean professional video. He cut a lot of corners and I wish that he had been honest about his experience up front. If your wedding video will just be highlights or 15 minutes and under I recommend--but I would NOT recommend for longer "movie" like videos!

Uno como cliente espera un trato de respeto y cortesía para con uno que está haciendo el gasto. Cuando se compraron los espejuelos las personas que nos atendieron educados y hoy con personas totalmente miserables.
