One of the continuous concerns of couples planning a destination wedding from abroad is first to find the venue and second to make sure it is the right place for their big day. Our site inspection options may help you with:
- Assistance in inspecting potential venue(s) prior to contracting to help you make a decision. Maximum 2 visits (some conditions may apply).
- Assistance in site inspection with the bride and groom to review inclusions, conditions and tasting if possible (some conditions may apply).
Full Planning & Coordination:

The best peace of mind when it comes to wedding planning!
We are from New York and wanted to have our wedding at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic since the very early stages of planning, but we were worried about the logistics of everything being in a different country. Thankfully, we found Estephany and Caroline at EJ Weddings & Events, and the endless checklist became manageable.
At first, we were overwhelmed with so many vendors and contacts, nobody responding in a timely manner, so many separate contracts to chase down and sign off on - but once Estephany and Caroline joined us in the planning process, everything was absolutely seamless and we were in constant contact since early 2024, until our wedding day on June 7, 2025.
The team at EJ Weddings & Events made our wedding weekend everything we ever wanted and more. Dream Destination Wedding Made Seamless
I put all of my trust in Emmy Jimenez Weddings & Events, and I’m so glad I did. Planning a destination wedding in Casa de Campo could have easily felt overwhelming, but the team made the entire experience seamless. We are sooo happy we decided to hire Emmy Jimenez Weddings & Events for our wedding! We worked with them for over a year and they were extremely professional, patient and always available to answer our questions. I had a specific vision in mind for our wedding and they exceeded my expectations when I saw the final results the day of, truly the wedding of our dreams! THE BEST Wedding Planners
EJ Wedding & Events provided my husband I with the wedding experience of our dreams. Their responsiveness and professionalism is amazing and was only the start of our terrific journey with them. We mainly worked with Estephany (mainly coordination and details) and Caroline (decor design). The both of them worked seamlessly together and were able to answer any questions we had and were extremely helpful with any problem solving with the resort.
When it came time to meet them in person we were blown away by the warm welcome! They immediately became family! I wish they could've hung around for our entire vacation because all of our family and friends absolutely cherished them. They worked so diligently at every single one of our events. We could not be more thankful for them and the peace of mind they brought to us.

Excellent experience
We hired EJ weddings and events for our Jan 2024 wedding in Punta Cana. We worked with Estephany and Caroline for a whole year and were very impressed with their level of professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail. They made planning a destination wedding a breeze and highly recommend them!!

Perfection
Once we hired this company it was evident that we made the right choice. Communication was prompt and everything that could have come up was addressed in proper time. Planning for a wedding in a different country had its challenges but we saw very little of that. The closer we got to the day the more communication became more important and they put all of our nerves at bay. The day of being able to witness them at work was like watching a well oiled machine. We still marvel at all the work that was done in such a short period of time. Every single one of our guests made the same remark… Best wedding they ever attended. The decor, the food, the cigar roller, the coffee station, the flowers, the center pieces, the staff, the band, the seating, the babysitters, heck I’ll even give them credit for the weather as it had been raining in a daily basis, it did not rain for the entire length of the wedding. There was not one thing that was not addressed or forgotten, there was not one thing we can complain about, our day was literally perfect. Very easy to work with, they are extremely knowledgeable, they never said no or if something was not possible they would figure out an alternative. We still marvel at the work it took to create our perfect wedding and we are extremely appreciative of all of that hard work which they made seem easy. I would recommend them without hesitation for any function as I’m sure they can handle anything that gets thrown their way.
