Team
Hey there!
My name is Emily, I was born and raised in Austin, Texas to a hilarious, artistic, and smart family (I'm one of four kids, third born, I feel ya all middle children). I studied Business at Texas A&M University (whoop) and landed my first real job at a small startup in Dallas that honestly wasn't too different from The Office.
Met my husband playing ultimate frisbee, moved to Madison, Wisconsin for five years, had identical twin daughters, moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and had just one more baby girl.
How did I go from a business degree to live wedding painting? It's a pretty long story but the very short version is that a year after my identical twins were born, I wanted to financially give to my friends working with refugees in Syria. I was still staying home with my twins, so I decided to teach myself to paint, convince my friends to buy my art, and donate the profits to help others.
A business was born.
As I grew my art business in Knoxville, a friend asked if I would live paint at her wedding. I had never heard of it and yet confidently said yes. :) I went from 1 wedding in 2020, to 4 weddings in 2021, to 18 weddings in 2022. Safe to say, I love this job.
Thank you for stopping by!
