I cannot recommend Emily as an officiant enough. Very communicative throughout the entire process and was very flexible to accommodate our needs. Took the time to get to know me and my (now) husband. Also very kind and thoughtful, and has a very calming presence (which is super important on the day of!). We're both very glad that we were able to find her

Emily is very warm, caring and intuitive. She very quickly understood us as a couple and created a perfectly customized ceremony in a very short period of time. We were a little nervous as we only had an hour of discussion before the wedding, but we did not need to be. She was wonderful and made the day exactly as we had wanted.

We can't say enough good things about Emily. We met with her and knew she was a good match. Over that time, she got to know us and was able to make our ceremony so personable. Emily was the perfect fit for our wedding and we immediately felt comfortable with her due to her warm and inviting personality. She has many resources and plenty of experience that helped us to find direction in planning our ceremony. The most important aspect that made working with Emily so wonderful was that she helped us customize our ceremony to fit our unique personalities and style. We had a rather non-traditional wedding and she worked with us to get every detail planned out. We talked/met with her multiple times so that we were able to get to know each other. It was a great experience!

Emily is kind, personable, flexible, organized, and SO helpful. At the rehearsal, she made sure everyone knew exactly what to do and when, answered all our questions and put everybody at ease. Her calming presence on the day of the wedding was just wonderful, she really went out of her way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and happy. I really appreciated the time she spent talking to me when I was a little jittery right before the wedding - her reassuring words and gentle humor helped me to relax and enjoy the moment. And the ceremony was absolutely perfect, better than I even imagined - everything went smoothly, and Emily's kind words about me and my husband were so touching.

In addition, Emily found a person to run the music for our ceremony when our other plans fell through - her awesome husband Gene, who was also just wonderful to work with and made sure the music we wanted sounded lovely and was perfectly timed!

Emily Duncan was the most amazing officiant we could have chosen!!! We wanted a non-denominational officiant that was personable and easy going. For those of you that don't know it is quite difficult to find a non-denominational officiant that will perform a non-religious ceremony and so we were worried we wouldn't be able to find anyone! But...the second we started talking to Emily we knew she was the perfect officiant for us!!!!! She was absolutely wonderful, professional, organized, and truly makes you feel like you are the only bride she has at the time! She does whatever is necessary to make you feel totally and completely comfortable with the ceremony and I loved that she gave us examples of each part of the ceremony because we had no idea whatsoever how things were "supposed" to go. With that being said she also helps you to personalize the ceremony in every way you can imagine and our ceremony felt completely unique, personal, and just what we wanted. And Emily Duncan made that possible. If you are looking for the perfect officiant that will cater to your every want and need then Emily is the officiant for you!!! You will not regret choosing her.
