Who We Are:
In the beginning of 2022, Chef Deven Bora started Early Bird Catering. He felt Vermont was calling for a fresh and new business to help fill the gaps in the local food and event service scene. Starting off as a part time venture, Chef Deven worked full time at a brewery while also scheduling pop-up events and private dinners on his off days. Early Bird Catering took off surprisingly quick, and Deven found himself needing to devote his full attention to the business. The team started off sharing kitchen spaces with other Chefs, realizing quickly that having their own space was necessary for the growing business. Finding a brick and mortar was no easy task, with the market in flux and very few options to choose from, EBC couldn't move forward with the plans they had originally set for themselves. The blessing for this team was finding the Colchester, Vermont location which just so happens to be a few blocks away from Chef Deven's childhood home. After almost a year of catering contracted events, weddings, business parties, and other types of get-togethers, the team was happy to finally have a place to call their own. To take advantage of their new catering space Early Bird Catering decided to add to their services and offer delivery, take out and grab and go options. Since March of 2023 the grab and go options have been postponed as Early Bird Caterings schedule has filled up with events. The relationships Early Bird Catering has made with other Vendors and their clients is extemely important to the whole team. They pride themselves on their professionalism, quick response time, quality of ingredients, and helping to support Vermont's local farms. The customers and the clients are truly what drive the Early Bird Catering team to have the standards that they find to be so important. The future for Early Bird Catering is very bright, and we hope to leave an imprint that lasts for decades! We hope you consider us to be by your side at your next important event!
Services Offered
Early Bird Catering is a full-service caterer providing custom menus, delivery, setup, cleanup, and servers. After a consultation to discuss your vision and needs, we will design the perfect menu for your special celebration! We can cater to any event, including breakfast, brunch, buffets, or plated dinner service with multiple courses. We also offer a wide selection of hors d'oeuvres, small plate options and delicious desserts!
Cuisine
The Head Chef and expert team at Early Bird Catering can prepare a menu to suit any taste! The Head Chef will work directly with you to design your menu, whether you prefer classic American or BBQ, or more unique cuisines like Chinese, Italian, French, Mediterranean, or Middle Eastern. We aim to impress your guests by creatively reinventing timeless, classic dishes! When we focus on an Ethnic Cuisine, we take the time and use preciseness to execute the recipe properly. To suit the diverse needs of your gathering, we can accommodate various dietary restrictions, such as Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Vegan, and Vegetarian!

My name is Deven and I am the owner, and Head Chef for Early Bird Catering! I was born and raised in Vermont, and I understand the dynamics of a state that loves locally sourced organic ingredients.
My passion for weddings and being a part of a special event is what drives me. Bringing a sense of comfort and providing the best tasting cuisine possible is what we strive for.
I started this business after 10 years in the industry, with 5 of those years being Head Chef. We have already done many Events, and are ready to take on more!
