When you're planning a wedding via email from another country, you just have to hope that the venue and wedding coordinator delivers.
I want to say Veronica and her team exceeded my expectations. Starting with the communication - very responsive and clear from the start. She answered all my 900 questions in a timely manner and was very patient with me. I went back and forth to work within my budget and Veronica adjusted it everytime with no problem.
I loved my flower arch, centerpieces and bouquets! It was the biggest expense outside of the package but it was worth every dollar! They were able to make my Pinterest board come to life but better!
The rehearsal dinner party, ceremony and reception went without a hitch. I was never stressed or worried because Veronica had everything taken care.
The team - servers, bartenders, etc, provided excellent service and my guests all loved them.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. Veronica helped bring my vision to life and boy did she deliver. We had almost 100 guests with a full weekend of planned events and they were all executed perfectly. We did not use any outside vendors, and all extra we had were supplied through dreams. 10/10 most perfect week of our life!

We were looking for something very minimal, very low cost, really as just a ceremony site for me to wear the pretty dress :) (we were married at local justice of the peace). This was perfect! Vianey coordinated everything with her team, all I had to do was provide my expectations at the onset - I had little to no concerns at any point. We had a very small party, only 8 guests that were with us at the resort and it was totally fine (you usually see such huge weddings and receptions). The venue was gorgeous - in my opinion, no even having extra flowers or anything didn't matter, the ocean and the view were enough. The special touches in the room (rose petals, sash on the door, both surprises) were so special, we were really on our own island of happiness and cannot wait to go back.

We had our wedding at Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa and had an amazing experience. Our coordinator Veronica was incredible from start to finish. She kept us informed throughout the entire process and made sure every detail was handled, including special requests.

We planned for over a year and worked closely with the wedding team to make sure everything came together perfectly. The events were beautiful and well organized, and our guests had a great time.

The DJ did a great job keeping the energy up and the dance floor was full all night. The food, service, and amenities were all excellent. Guests especially enjoyed the restaurants, room service, and activities around the resort.

The staff was friendly and helpful across the board, and everything felt very well coordinated. We also really enjoyed the spa experience and the variety of things to do throughout the stay.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would absolutely return. We highly recommend this resort for a wedding or vacation!

Karla is the best. I honestly couldn’t want anything more. She responded to my every request and desire and still managed to work in some surprises for us. We had the wedding of both of our dreams and never were asking for more. Karla is extremely professional, friendly, responsive, organized, creative, and just a total dream to work with. She helped to bring my unique wedding dreams alive. Karla is now family in our eyes. She will forever have a place to stay in Chicago. The Dreams Sapphire Wedding department is lucky to have Karla! She connected us with the best vendors. When she was thinking of something and I couldn’t picture it, she made a little mock up rendering. She went above and beyond. I can’t stop saying great things. Our wedding guests even complimented her! She noticed and tended to all details big and small and everything in between. Karla is the best!

Carmen and her team were outstanding. They went above and beyond in every aspect of our wedding weekend. From the welcome party to the actual wedding reception everything was perfect and as the bride I didn’t have to lift a finger. I would highly recommend dreams sapphire again and again to any bride and groom looking to plan a destination wedding!!

I recently had my wedding at Dreams Sapphire in June 2026. I would 10/10 recommend a destination wedding. We had about 50 guests and it was so much fun having a few days together rather than just one evening.
From the very beginning, the resort was responsive and got back to me quickly. We worked with Veronica as our wedding coordinator and she was wonderful. Super responsive and answered my millions of questions and gave me the reassurance I needed as I started to let anxiety take over near the end of planning. She was willing to schedule a meeting with us at any moment. We brought a good amount of decor with us and it was set up perfectly. We also got a few unexpected upgrades that was very much appreciated!

For our venues, we did the pool terrace for the rehearsal dinner which worked out wonderfully. Even being right off of the pool, it was late enough that the pool was closed and still felt private. For our ceremony, we did Jardin del mar - I wanted to see the beach but didn't want the sand or the sargassum and this venue was perfect. For the reception we did Sky Rooftop and I 10/10 recommend the rooftop. It was gorgeous, a good breeze, and very private.

For the value - I will say we did end up spending more than we originally had planned. The package is great - but I do think it is pricey, especially since it does not include some key things like florals, DJ, dancefloor, etc. It was difficult to justify spending so much when you were already paying for an all-inclusive stay. The 16% taxes and service fees add up really quickly too. The wedding team at Dreams Sapphire is wonderful though and we really enjoyed working with them!

One negative is that the outside vendor fee is really high and the preferred vendor list is tiny - one option for hair and makeup, only one or two options for photography, only one option for DJ. The vendor fee is also per service rather than per person (so you have to pay two fees for photography and videography even if it's the same company).

Another negative is that we did not book the bridal suite to get ready in but booked another suite (ambassador suite). I was under the impression that we would get food and champagne delivered just like you would in the bridal suite, however we only got champagne for mimosas, no food. We called to do room service early (tried to schedule it for lunch) but they would not let us put in lunch room service before noon. By the time noon rolled around, we were all so busy getting ready before the photographer came, that we did not have time to have lunch delivered (takes about an hour). If you go this route - just make sure you have a plan for food!

As far as rooms and the resort itself- We had a club room and it was beautiful. Large and great view. The rooftop pool and sushi restaurant were great. We did have some guests who had preferred or just regular rooms that had trouble with their AC not getting very cool.

Overall, it was wonderful and I would definitely recommend considering Dreams Sapphire for a destination wedding. I was so sad when it was all over!

We recently got married here and it was perfect! There was not one thing I would change (except maybe I should have added another hour on to the reception). Vianey was our coordinator and was so great to work with. She was very responsive in our emailing back and forth and executed my vision EXACTLY how I imagined it. She was able to change our ceremony location for us as the beach had too much seaweed and I didn't want to have that in out photos and she changed it to Jardin Del Mar which overlooks the ocean. It was PERFECT! We chose the rooftop for our reception and it was definitely worth the extra money. The servers and bartenders were excellent and very attentive and friendly. All of our guests came up to us throughout the night and the days after telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
Overall, I would do this over again 100%!

Michelle was amazing and made everything possible for me to have the perfect wedding. Initially I was not too confident in the resort but only thanks to Michelle did everything went off without a problem!
