Drakestone House is a rustic wedding venue located in the Gloucestershire countryside in the United Kingdom. With idyllic views overlooking 30 miles, nestled in the Cotswolds, this wedding destination is one to help your day become truly special.

Facilities and Capacity

Situated on a private 10-acre estate, Drakestone House can accommodate up to 100 guests on their top terrace and garden room. Drakestone House can also offer the drawing room, an intimate venue for up to 25 guests. Weddings can also be held in one of the many local churches, which the staff can advise on. The 90-foot clear-span marquee tent set on the expansive front lawns can accommodate 100 seats for a formal wedding breakfast. With electricity, wooden flooring, sides, linings, and Chiavari tables and chairs, your guests can enjoy their meal with natural surroundings and photographs afterwards. The breathtaking Cotswold Yew garden, designed over a century ago, is one of the many period features of the venue.

Up to 19 guests can sleep in the main house. There are eight bedrooms, including the bridal suite with a four-poster bed. With a lounge, dining-room, conversatory, and terrace, your stay will be a comfortable and enjoyable one. History

Drakestone House has been open for weddings since 2017, but this country house has stood near the village of Stinchcombe since 1911. As one of the last country houses to be built before the start of World War I, the house reflects the influence of the Arts and Crafts architectural movement with several period pieces.
